If a VoP wizard is impossible, a simple rearrangement of feats and swap wizard to sorcerer is possible with same results. threats: 1: arcane 8th lvl spells 2: tons of skills(9 avg) + trapfinding + able learner(duh) 3: free healing up to 1/2, healing maneuvers 4: 16 BAB, with arcane wrath, wis-> damage = +23 attack bonus (my picture has a few errors) ---crusader maneuvers (8th lvl maneuver) ---41 AC wearing a loin cloth ![]() I have a choice of beguiler and factotum. Beguiler gives me lots of mage armor which I hope to swing the DM works with abjurant champion, and lots of 0th lvl spells that I can feed into arcane wrath for the +4 attack. Factotum gives me 2 inspiration points/encounter for Int->attack/damage/saving throw. The factotum is better in later levels when I have a high Int, beguiler is better for low level spontaneous 1st lvl spells. I took them at level 4 so I could get touch of healing faster, and the feats just fit better that way. I chose to take the fighter variant wizard from unearthed arcana seeing that the vow of poverty doesn't permit me to have scrolls, so why would he have learned to make them? He is combat oriented thus he learned a fighter feat instead of scribe scrolls. What fighter feat should I choose? I'm thinking improved unarmed strike for synergy with touch of golden ice(exalted poison), so whenever I hit an evil character disabling is easier. Golden ice: (initial: 1d6 Dex, secondary: 2d6 Dex) Crusader 1 (Initiator level = 3) Maneuvers:
crusader strike(heal 1d6) vanguard strike(allies get +4 attack vs struck foe) leading the attack(allies get +4 attack vs struck foe) battle leader's charge(charge +10 damage) mountain hammer(overcome DR,hardness +2d6 dam) martial spirit(stance heal 2/hit)
Crusader X maneuvers:
8: revitalizing strike(heal 3d6)(3rd) 10: divine surge(+8d8)( 4th) 16: aura of (chaos/perfect order/triumph), rallying strike(heal 3d6 in 30' burst)(6th) 18: castigating strike(+8d6 to foe, +5d6 to foes in blast range)(7th) 20: greater divine surge(+6d8 +2d8/voluntary con damage)(8th)
VoP bonus attributes: Int/Dex/Con/Wis -having Int first lets me gain bonus 6th lvl spells. 41 AC = 10(base) + (2-6)(Dex) + 4(mage armor) + (1-4)(abjurant champ.) + (4-10)(exalted AC) + 2(natural) + (1-3)(deflection) Saves: -Beguiler: F:10 R:5 W:13 -Factotum: F:10 R:7 W:11 What should my wizard fighter feat be? What do you think? |

| #3cowzrulMar 27, 2008 22:21:37 | Wizard and VoP don't mix. could you even own a spellbook or get scrolls to copy into it? That would be owning a magical item, no? |
