I'm want to create a Warblade that can dish out alot of hurt but I'm pretty green when it comes to maneuvers and such and would really appreciate the help.

Race: Human

Type: Warblade

Level Limitation: 9

Book Limitation: none

Attributes: 18,17,17,15,12,11

Alignment: any evil or nutral

An odd quirk of warblade is that you learn stances at very awkward levels. If you go warblade 9, you'll have two 1st level stances, because there are no higher-level stances you could possibly take at 4th level. If you go something 2 / warblade 7, you get a 3rd level stance, since you'll have an initiator level of 5 when you take your 4th warblade level. This would mean you'd have to wait a level to gain 5th level maneuvers, but it can be quite worth it.

There are many options for those 2 levels, including the ever-popular fighter or barbarian. If you like strikes, an option is psychic warrior 2 with psionic meditation, psionic weapon, and either deep impact or greater psionic weapon.

Thanks I never even consider Psychic warrior. I can already tell building this character is going to be fun.

The issue with off-level stances was asked of and confirmed by the authors shortly after the book's release to be a blooper in the tables, one that also affected the other classes' progressions.

The warblade should be getting his second stance at 5th level, not 4th level. IIRC, the third stance was supposed to become available at 9th and the fourth one at 15th.
