I'm making a Swashbuckler/Rogue cross-class build. We're starting at lvl 1 right now and need approve for all material that's not part of PHB and DMG, though our DM is usually lenient. (I have, after all, gotten Swashbuckler, Daring Outlaw and one Luck Feat through).

Stats are these:
Str 14, Dex 16, Con 16, Int 16, Wis 12, Cha 14

Levels are laid out as:
Swashbuckler 2, Rogue 3, Swashbuckler 15 -- Daring Outlaw at level 6.

Which, in the end, nets me a nice BAB of 19 and 10d6 Sneak attack if I interpret Daring Outlaw correctly and get the sneak attack advancement for -all- Swashbuckler levels.

Now I'm looking for good feats to add. So far, I was thinking:

1 Improved Initiative
1 (That luck feat that allows an Initiative reroll. Alternatively, I'll try and propose that one where you can put yourself at the very start of the initiative list 1/day, though I can't remember where it is nor what it's called.)
3 open
6 Daring Outlaw

If we don't get a party Rogue instead of 17 times 4+Int and three times 8+Int I'll be getting 6+Int for all levels so I can also -- sorta -- fill that role.

Other than that, what are good combinations I could go for? Flavor-wise I'm going for a brash but witty Swordsman, swift and deadly but no muscleman. I guess Weapon Focus might work and I'll probably be allowed to take Weapon Specialization but I'm not sure that's the best I can do, both optimization and flavour-wise.

Good options:
TWF, ITWF, GTWF
Craven (CoR)
Dodge, Mobility, Elusive Target
Darkstalker (LoM)
Staggering Strike
Trickery Devotion (CC)
Undo Resistance (FC2)
Weaken The Heart (Dragon)

Weaken The Heart ... is that in the Dragon Magazine Compedium? I don't have my books right now.

+1 Rogue, -1 Swashbuckler. Uncanny Dodge is far more useful than whatever you get at Swashbuckler 17.

Aww, Weaken the Heart is just plain mean. You hit them and then trip them twice and bam, they're Exhausted.

Level 17 Swashbuckler gives you Slippery Mind.

Level 17 Swashbuckler gives you Slippery Mind.

Ah, right. It's nifty if you have a high Will save, but you don't. You do, however, have lots of Dex and Dodge bonuses to AC. Therefore, Uncanny Dodge is a lot more useful than Slippery Mind.
