| #1shadowfox477Jun 17, 2008 20:48:33 | I am playing in a tenth level game which starts in a week or so, and I was having trouble deciding on what I want to play. Books:Core, CS,Eborron Campaign setting, forgotten realms campaign setting, and other books on limited request. At first I was thinking Conj5/Malconvoker5 because I was always intrigued by this class when I bought CS. I have looked over the Mastering the Malconvoker thread and formed some ideas, but then I got to thinking that the rest of my group (who are not as experienced except the DM) may get frustrated with me taking a lot of the combat time and success because the DM scales down ecounters to compensate for inexperience. Another spellcasting option is making an illusionist, which I think I would find enjoyable. Or i was going to go with a more combat role and do something like Pal/dwarvin defender. Or something completely different Thoughts? Other suggestions? Any input would be appreciated |

And summoning a big-nasty is a good way to keep some of your party members from attracting too much attention. |

Just use a high-AC/dex form for spellcasting. Another option is swift hunter if you can get complete adventurer and complete champion (namely scout class and travel devotion). |
