Deep Impact/Decisive Strike?

I've been pondering a build idea utilizing Deep Impact and Decisive Strike, wondering what character concepts could be used. My current thought is something like Lockdown 2.0, but concentrating on damage rather than the lock. I'm just not sure it works the way I want it to...

Race: Human

Levels: Fighter 2/Overwhelming Attack Monk 2/Crusader 2/War Mind 10/X 4

Feats: *Wild Talent, *Combat Reflexes, Able Learner, *Power Attack, *Imp Unarmed Strike, *Decisive Strike, *Imp Bull Rush, Serpent Strike, *Weapon Focus, Psionic Weapon, Deep Impact, Psionic Meditation, Shock Trooper, Defensive Sweep

Basically, you charge the enemy with a reach weapon to set up Shock Trooper while activating your War Mind boosts. Then you use your Decisive Sweeping Strike with Deep Impact and full Power Attack to utterly destroy the enemy. Better hope you do, because now you're extremely vulnerable! But you do have Thicket of Blades and Defensive Sweep to finish off anyone still moving. Then to the part I'm unsure about.... If there are some survivors, manifest Hustle to regain your focus and do it again! If Decisive Strike is a full round action though, not sure if a swift action is allowed.

Any insight to how/if this would work?

Um, I don't think can Decisive Strike at the end of a charge. Psionic Lion's Charge allows you to make a full attack. Decisive Strike isn't a full attack though, its a full round action. A full attack is a full round action, but not all full round actions are full attacks. Make sense? Psionic Lions Charge doesn't let you cast a full round spell at the end of the charge, and it doesn't let you reload a heavy crossbow. It lets you make a full attack, and a Decisive Strike is not a full attack.

Benefit: As a full-round action, make one attack with an unarmed strike or special monk weapon, using your highest base attack bonus but taking a -2 penalty on this attack roll.

So...as a full round action. Not instead of a full attack.

Oh, and to answer your other question...You can take a swift action before or after your full attack. I don't think you can take a swift action between attacks in a full attack unless explicitly called out (like it does in 5' step and Quickdraw).

I never implied that it would use Decisive Strike on a charge. Only on the round after his charge when Shock Trooper kicks in.

I know I can use a swift action before or after a full attack action, but Decisive Strike is full round action. The rules specify using free actions during a full round action, but not specifically swift actions. That's what I was wondering about....

Then yes...you do get a swift action when you take a full round action. And your 5' step, assuming you haven't moved anywhere (like in a charge).

The wording on Decisive Strike just seems wonky at best. The feature it is replacing (flurry of blows) works only on a full attack action. I don't see why they changed Decisive Strike to a full round action, when they are nearly one in the same. I'd probably try to get it cleared by the DM, but after he finds out what I'm trying to do with it, he'd probably smack me with his DMG. :P
