This is a build I've been floating in my head for a while, with these houserules in the game: Every PC is from a group of "heroes" called forth at level 1, blessed and cursed at the same time, +2 Intelligence (inherent), -1 Con (curse, removable with a 'remove curse'), all Knowledge skills and UMD are "in-class", free Alertness, free Skill Focus (UMD), everyone has Bardic Knowledge as a 1st level Bard (unless you have levels in Bard, then Level+1), one free Luck feat of our choosing. Starting level 12, gold for our level but the "buy" list is limited. Figure DMG gear in tables only up to 8,000 per item, MIC gear in tables only to 4,000. Pretty much no specially created items. 32-pt buy, only 1 PrC allowed. WotC 3.5 Books (Core, Complete, Races) + Faerun allowed, no Dragon, other material must be approved (Eberron).

Human, Lawful Good

Starting Stats
Str: 16, Dex: 14, Con: 15, Int: 10, Wis: 15, Cha: 8

Current Stats
Str: 21, Dex: 14, Con: 15, Int: 12, Wis: 15, Cha: 8

1. Monk: *Imp Unarmed Strike, *Imp Grapple, *Decisive Strike, *Wild Talent, Psionic Weapon
2. Monk: *Combat Reflexes
3. Fighter: *Power Attack, Serpent Strike
4. Fighter: *Short Haft
5. Fighter:
6. War Mind: Deep Impact, [Expansion]
7. War Mind: [Inertial Armor]
8. War Mind:
9. War Mind: Psionic Meditation, [Hustle]
10. War Mind:
11. Crusader: (Shield Block, Revitalizing Strike, Battle Leader's Charge, Covering Strike; Martial Spirit)
12. Crusader: Cleave, (Defensive Rebuke; Thicket of Blades)

The mechanic here isn't very difficult: Deep Impact Sweeping Decisive Strike. If you can get 2 targets, the damage output should equal 4 regular attacks, resolved as touch attacks. Thicket of Blades and eventually Stand Still to keep them occupied while you beat them senseless. Also eventually have Practiced Manifester and Defensive Sweep. Other Powers: Force Screen, Steadfast Perception, Psionic Dimension Door.

Finish: Fighter 6/Crusader 2/Monk 2/War Mind 10, Saves 15/12/8, BAB 19, AC probably around 50

Options are pretty limited with only 1 PrC. I just need to get Serpent Strike approved. Group consists of Buffer Cleric, Ranger/Rogue, Wizard, Monk and then a Fighter and Paladin who rarely play, so we usually need the damage. Any thoughts?

Why Improved Grapple over Stunning Fist? Why Short Haft?

I look at the house rules, and they just scream Knowledge Devotion.

I've never really used Stunning Fist, and the DC would be rather low. To tell you the truth, I wasn't that fond of Imp Grapple either. It just seemed like the more useful option. I'd really like to go with Wing Chun Kuen fighting style (Combat Reflexes, Cleave) from DR334, but the DM generally doesn't approve DR material.

Short Haft was also iffy. He's got unarmed strikes for dealing with close-range targets, but he shouldn't be allowing them to close with Thicket of Blades and Stand Still.

Assuming I can get Wing Chun Kuen approved and drop Short Haft, I'd have 2 open feat slots, probably 1 at this level while moving Practiced Manifester to 12th. Any ideas on those?

Well I think Knowledge Devotion might be a winner, since you're trying to deal damage. The houserules beg for it.

Though with two free feats, possibly Aberrant Blood and Inhuman reach. It would open up greater possibilities of actually getting that Sweeping Strike combo working.

Perhaps you guys are right on the Knowledge Devotion. I kinda wanted to make this character a "Vanquisher", so having the Knowledge to defeat all types of creatures is a bonus.

Not sure about the Inhuman Reach. Usually the difference between getting that Sweeping Strike or not is a 5ft adjust, so not sure it'd be worth 2 feats...
