Dextrous Pirate-like Character Advice

Hey guys, I'm trying to go on the oft-seen quest to make some kind of dexterous fighter, a melee character that relies on their dexterity to get them out of tight spots and the like, but I've reached a point in the particular campaign I am in that leaves me at a loss for what I should do down the road.

I'd like to play, flavor-wise, a character that is very much like a gentlemanly (he's CG) swashbuckler, as my character's back story indicates that he was sort of a thief in the employ of a rather fearsome pirate gang, until a botched heist concerning an ancient artifact put him in a bad way with this most notorious of pirate gangs, and they threw him overboard bound and gagged (this also gave him an irrational fear of water/drowning). In any case, I want him to have the flavor of a pirate/swashbuckler...

Here's what I have so far:

Level 6
Gray Elf
28 Point Buy
Swashbuckler 3/Swordsage 3
(Gray Elf bonuses/penalties have been factored in)
Str 8
Dex 19
Con 10
Int 16
Wis 14
Cha 8

Feats:
Quick Draw (this can be swapped out for Dodge, long story)
Weapon Finesse
Weapon Focus (Short Sword)
Shadowblade
Adaptive Style (this can be swapped, because we got to 6 at the end of the last session)

Maneuvers:
1. Burning Blade:
2. Counter Charge:
3. Clinging Shadow Strike
4. Shadow Blade Tech
5. Wolf Fang Strike
6. Sudden Leap
7. Shadow Jaunt:
8. Flashing Sun

I'll give you guys some basic info on what constraints I have:

Low wealth/low magic
Only two core classes, the rest have to be prestige
All books allowed, core/completes being given, rest need DM approval.

Party- I don't want to end up encroaching on the function of another character too much, so here's what the party is/can do:
1.Modified ninja meant to focus on poison use
2.Dragon Shaman who will be going into Devoted Defender
3.Beguiler who does what beguiler's do really well
4.Cleric of Palor meant for healing
5.A dwarf fighter who is going to function as a tank.

Basically what I would like is to come up with a useful, but not too powerful character that has a lot of flavor; the next obvious choice is that I'm going to take Dread Pirate at level 8 [DM's letting me not count the rank cap for cross-class skills when it comes to the Appraise req, he likes flavor], mostly for the free TWF, and take that for only a couple of levels, maybe, before going into some other prestige class, but which one, I have no idea.

Really, what I'd like are a list of worthwhile options for the character. I've been thinking of doing anything from taking DP to 5 levels for Luck of the Wind and finishing out with Dervish, or taking DP for even less than that and padding up more SwordSage levels for more maneuvers or something. I really don't know. :\

Any help or advice would be appreciated! :D

Since you are an elf, maybe either 2 levels of Champion of Correlion in there for +dex to damage again, or possibly Eternal Blade from ToB to pick up some neato Devoted Spirit maneuvers. Just a couple thoughs....

Any chance of getting into Scarlet Corsair (Stormwrack)?

Eternal Blade looks really cool, and, like was said, I would be gaining some more maneuvers. I would go Champion of Correllon, but I'm not sure what my chances are of getting Elven Lightblades in this campaign, and making the feat requirement may not be worth it, though it does seem like a cool idea. I looked at Stormwrack, but I wasn't really impressed with the PrC options, unless I'm missing something awesome about the Scarlet Corsair, I'm not really sure how big sea-combat is going to be in this campaign, so I'll give it thought, I just wasn't impressed at first glance.
