I am playing a warforged Disciple of Dis...PRC from BOVD. I am using Eagle Claw weapons from Sandstorm. starting crit range of 18-20. The Iron Power of Dis PRC stacks with improve crit. I am 14th LV and having to figure out the crit range works.
Imp. crit (feat) doubles threat range (15-20) 3#'s
1st power over iron of DOD doubles threat range (12-20) 3#'s right?
2nd power over iron triples the threat range... (9-20) 3#'s or 9 #'s? (2-20)?
so with my base starting weapon of 18-20. where does my crit range end at? My DM and I have been back and forth on this. Does the original threat range triple? Thanks.

In D&D non-real numbers(such as damage multipliers) are not added like you would expect. If it you have 2 doubles then it becomes x3(x2+x2 =x3 I know it looks bad, but that is how it works). So you get tripled crit range (if you don't have improved crit) for a total of 12-20 crit range. If you have Imp. Critical you are looking at a x4 (9-20). It's figured as the whole first multiplier, then any further multiplier-1(x3+x2=x4(3+(2-1)) for your example)

The multipliers don't add 1:1, I think that is where most people get confused.

It is indeed 9-20. When combined with Eviscerator, Lighting Mace, and Roundabout Kick (Aptitude weapons make the latter two possible), it gets a little insane.

I still don't think aptitude weapon works that way.

I do. It lets you use the weapon for any feat that's specific to one weapon. An Aptitude Kukri could thus utilize Lightning Mace or Roundabout Kick.

This got me thinking about a build, 2 builds actually, working on it right now.

What's that thing that lets you blow your Psionic focus to make melee touch attacks for the whole round?

Deep Impact lets you do that for your next attack.

What's Eviscerator?

It's a feat that requires being undead (Necropolitan is your friend) and a series of feats leading up to it including Improved Critical. Every time you critically hit, every ally of the guy you just hit (and the guy himself) becomes shaken for one minute.

Because of the way the fear stacking rules work, this is incredible on a Zhentarum Fighter with Imperious Command, as anyone who's already shaken can be made panicked for one minute with a swift action.

I've been working out a character that's Lion Totem Barbarian 1/Warblade 1/Zhentarum Fighter 10/Disciple of Dispater 8 with the Whirling Frenzy varient, Blood in the Water, and those feats, wielding a pair of Lifedrinker Aptitude Enfeebling Kukris. Slap in Lightning Mace, Roundabout Kick, and the feat that gives you a bonus to confirming critical hits and you're good to go.

The combos you get are insane!

Sadly lightning maces doesn't work there.
Can't sub warblades can't sub "Maces" for Kuris for some reason... sigh...
But nothing wrong with just using maces right? ...um... right?

He's not using the Warblade's "weapon apptitude", he's using the "apptitude weapon" enhancement found later in the book.

He still has to qualify for the feats right? What are the requirements on the lightning maces etc.?

Yeah, you still need the prerequisite feats (Weapon Focus Light Mace, for example).

Aptitude weapons always count as applying to any feat that's specific to a single weapon. This is FAR more powerful than the Warblade ability, because Aptitude weapons can thus fit in to feats that don't normally allow you to switch the weapon type (like Lightning Mace or Roundabout Kick). It's even stronger when those feats are designed for a weapon with a poor critical hit type (20/X2) and suddenly you can apply them to a weapon that gets to 9-20 critical threat.

So yes, you CAN use Lightning Mace with Aptitude Kukris. You cannot use the Warblade ability to switch Lightning Mace to Kukris.
