| #1neo_leviathanNov 23, 2009 2:00:09 | Hey all. Anyone able to suggest any methods for giving a creature/NPC Dispelling resistance? I know there is always the ring of counterspelling, and there's the tenacious magic feat for Shadow Weave users, but are there any other ways around for making things dispelling resistant? |

Grell Alchemy (Feat, LoM) gets you a +2 to Resist, amongst other features. Many PrCs have class eatures that help with that, such as the Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil (Class level to Abjuration) and Suel Arcanamath (+6), and many others. A Truenamer can restore dispelled spells at will, a Spellblade may grant you immunty to Dispel Magic as a spell (though that's quite too cheesy for most)... Simplest method, however, beyond the above, is raising your own CL high enough. |

Best part is, that with the exception of reaving dispel, most dispels will screw over the mage that sent it just as well as you. And of course raising your CL with a ring of arcane might and/or orange ioun stone gives you a bit of a push, plus other benefits. |
