May 18, 2009 8:34:30 My search fu is weak today, it seems.

I'm working on an oracle build based off a sorc.

I took the 5th level alternate class ability from Complete Champion and took the Time Domain.

At 6th level, the character can go into Divine Oracle, giving the Oracle Domain and adding those spells to his castable spells.

Without going cleric or favored soul, is there any other way to get Domains?

Race: Catfolk

Feats:
1st - Education
3rd - Skill Focus (Religion)
5th - Improved Initiative (Time Domain granted power)
6th - Danger Sense

Stats:
STR 11
DEX 17
CON 13
INT 14
WIS 13
CHA 17

May 18, 2009 8:36:11 Arcane Disciple feat from CD, let's you pick a domain and add it to your spells/known (with a limitation).

It's not a domain, but you could also look at the bloodlines feats from Dragon Compendium.

I'll check out Arcane Disciple.

Our DM doesn't allow feats from Dragon Magazine unfortunately.

May 18, 2009 9:29:46 a lot of classes in Complete Divine grant your character Domains. There is also a class in Faiths of Eberron The Sovereign Speaker It's a 9 level Prc that grants you a domain each level and a domain slot every third level. so you net +9 domains and 3 domain slots to prep spells in.

The domain slots would also qualify you for any Prc that needs a domain slot for entry or some class ability (there were some in Complete Divine iirc)

May 18, 2009 10:14:50 Sovereign speaker requires ability to cast divine spells, but i guess we fix that.
Oh, and rainbow servant, from complete divine.
grants the good, law, and air domains at level 1, 4 and 7, and at level 10 you add the cleric spell list to your own.
On the table it says that you lose 4 caster levels, but in the text it says "when a new rainbow servant level is gained, the character gain new spells per day..."
and text trumphs table.
