Dragonrider build

So our old DM will be kicking off the dust from his old campaign and jumping it forward around 80 years meaning my human mystic theurge is now long dead. In return for this unfortunate time change our DM is allowing me to use a custom Dragonrider prestige class that I made last year. Now I just have decide what to have as my starting levels.

The class is described here

rapidshare.com/files/437692777/Dragon_Ri...

Starting at lvl 10, 28 point buy, no flaws allowed but almost any books except no dragon magazine.

The character will be a silverbrow human whose parents were killed by a vicious red dragon and as such he became a dragon hunter. During a fight with a nasty green dragon his horse was killed and he was almost beaten, but then Bahamut sent him a half silver dragon Drakkensteed to save him and be his mount.

My main problems are the ability scores and what classes to go to enter the prestige class. Its really a toss up between Warblade 1/Fighter 6 of Warblade 5/Fighter 2. Any suggestions.

I plan on using a greatsword and trying to find Crimson Ruination (it was stolen from my last character in the previous game) to use as my main weapon.

I'm also not sure whether to take Dragonfoe and Dragon Bane as two of my feats. They make sense for the characters history, and creatures of the Dragon type are a regular problem in this campaign (lots of strong dragons and their half breed children) but im not sure they're worth a 2 feats.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

This is the supermount thread. It has plenty of usefull things for this type of build. Hope it helps

You need to work in levels of Ruathar.

I know all about supermount, but i'm not after a stupidly powerful mount that can destroy everything in sight thats why I have a custom made class that provides the mount as part of its design. Its not a Paladins mount or an Animal Companion so it cant work with that. Also as I said the character is a Silverbrow human for RP reasons and supermount only works with halflings.

Ha ha. I like it  If I was copying Eragon then thats probably what i'd use and have Duskblade as the starting class, however it doesn't suit the idea as his background story has no elves in it.

LordPhrofet, I've just read my reply back to myself and I sound like a right arse. I just wanted to let you know that I really didn't mean it that way and I appreciate the suggestion.

Psh all good. Another thing you might want to is the Dragonborn template specially if your background already has Bahamut giving you stuff.
