#1 VilliansVision Dec 08, 2008 17:46:18	Hey Guys, I have been reading these boards for a while and still i am amazed at all the information there is and the grasp you all seem to have on it.. so i thought there would be no better place for me to go then here for this questions. My buddies and I are going to be spending a long weekend playing a 3.5 game with most sources allowed ( a few things the DM doesn't like are outlawed, but i have mostly free reign of wizards books) So what the DM wanted to run was this.. we are going to have to have our character made up to 15th level .. but we are going to start at level one and play a session then we all will level up anywhere from 1-3 levels at a time.. and since this is an Evil series of games either we will be starting to try to kill one another from the start or it will end in one mass melee of destruction... So here is what i have come up with so far poking about on the forums... The only personal aversion i have is to playing halflings or gnomes.. so i picked human it seemed like the best bet. My goal is i want to be able to survive the onslaught that will be at the end of this .. so The opposite side of caster i set it up so i can get a bonus to saves for high Cha, and get Meddle and Evasion, and some more HP and BaB plus a few extra powers to throw about ( nothing that will really be game breaking) Human (Dread Necromancer 8[1-8]/Shadow Adept 7[9-15])/ (Psychic Warrior2 [1-2]/Fighter1[3]/rogue2[4-5]/Hexblade3[6-8]/Blackguard3[9-11]/Hexblade 4[12-15]) Level one Tomb Tainted Soul, Corpsecrafter , Power Attack ( Psy Warr) Level two, Cleave ( Psy Warr) Level three, Empowerspell, Improved Sunder (Fighter) Level six, Shadow Weave Magic, Level nine,, Spell Penetration, Tenacious Magic[SA],Insidious magic[SA], Tenacious magic[SA] Level 12 Spell Focus: Necromancy Level 13 [SA] Delay Spell Level 15 Improved Spell Pen Anyway , and tips or advice will be greatly appreciated.. #2 jaronk Dec 08, 2008 20:28:21	My advice would be to go with Dread Necromancer//Archivist as your base, using a level of Tainted Sorcerer (UA) on the Archivist side. That way you can use Charisma only, and persist your Archivist spells with DN Rebuke Undead. Plus, it just REEKS of evil. Use that item from ToB that gives you one Diamond Mind manuever (Ring of the Diamond Mind, IIRC) to get Moment of Perfect Mind to be sure you pass the will save not to take more levels of that class. From there, go nuts, and just buff yourself with Archivist buffs to fight in melee. JaronK
