Well my fellow party members recently killed my character, so I am forced to reroll. My DM wants me to be the most powerful character in the game. I have to be Drow and have at least 5 levels in Psychic Warrior. Thanks in advance for any help.

More info. please.

  • What ECL will be used?
  • What are the other party members?
  • What books are allowed?
  • Is your DM using the Magic/Psionics transparency rule?
  • What exactly do you mean by "most powerful character"?

With 5 levels of PsyWar, you're kinda stuck with taking more levels of PsyWar or a PrC that stacks ML like Slayer. With straight PsyWar you could make a nice Archer. A gish isn't out of the question either.

Try these searches on this CharOp board:

Psionic Archer
Psychic Warrior Slayer
Psionic Gish

He could still hit 9th level spells with Ur-Priest.

Chech out the Divine Mind (Lord of Madness) and Illithid Slayer (Expanded Psionic Handbook). Also, check out psionic weapon master. The latter do not have a good psion-progression, but it sure have some very sleek abilities

Drow psi warrior and most powerful character in the game shouldn't be used in the same sentence or post........ unless it's "My drow psi warrior likes to hang out with the most powerful character in the game" or unless you're in a party of CW samurais and core fighters.

Man, it's posts like this that make me want to find other discussion boards to post on. Have you nothing constructive to offer the OP? If not, why post? Just so you can flex your muscles to tell him a Drow PsyWar is weak in your opinion? What's the point in doing that?

IMO, the OP poses an interesting challenge... What is the potential of a Drow PsyWar 5? There have already been some great suggestions. Good luck, OP.

The key to uberness is to remember, you only need to be uber for very short burst of time.
Drow SR actually makes them decent meleeists, as it gives a nice defense against majority of NPC spellcasters. The much-disparaged Complete Psionics has a bunch of nice gems on power side as well as few good feats. Add to that Tome of Battle...

PsyWar 5 isn't that far along in PP progression, so you do not really lose that much even if you pick non-psionic class to go along with it.... Hm.

A bit of googling found this:

I would suggest a deviation from that with a single dip to Crusader to get Awesome recovery mechanic, at least.
