polymorph :you take the stat so its not an enhancement

its not the same bonus but both are spell from transmutation school... does its matter?

Yes, RAW you keep the bonus. You do lose the claw and bite, though - oh, woe.

its great that you keep the stat but its too bad you lose claw and bite. would have been good for shapeshift druid when in wolf form to get secondary claw attack for low lvl

Shapeshift gives you an enhancement bonus, which doesn't stack with bite of the X

Uh, NO

Oh, wait, Shapeshift variant from PHB2?
Nevermind, then. Still, I'm betting Bite of the Werebear gives better enhancements than Shapeshift, unless you're level 32 or above.

Hmm, on a related note.  If you were to use delay spell metamagic, cast Bite of the Werebear, and before it went off Shapechange into... say... an Ancient Red/Gold Dragon (those seem to be all the rage), the bonuses would stack.  Same process as before, right?
