But cant work out the best way to go..

I've looked and looked for good early level Druid builds but cant find much out there.. And yes i've checked the MOMF & Druid Handbook threads.

3.5 Published sources, no psionics or tome of battle, 32 point buy

And yes this needs to be a Druid. Cannot use the wildshaping Ranger

Spellcasting is good but I want to utilize Wildshaping.. MOMF looks interesting but 7 Levels is alot for a game that will probably only go to 16..

Druid 5/MOMF 7/leaves you with 4 Lvls to play with so may not be the ticket.. PrC's i've thought might be handy would be: Monk, MOMF, Natures Warrior, and Warshaper.

Can anybody who has played a FUN Wildshaping Druid post a build??

Thank you in advance!! Oh and this build will be used so progression would be grand!!

druid 16 with appropriate items. Clasps or some such that allow you to use magic items when in shaped form. Also MOMF is not a bad option...

It looks suspiciously like a homebrew 4E Druid.

Druid 5/Planar Shepherd 10/XX1

Pick the right outer plane and you can Wildshape into a Solar. (or whatever the heck else you prefer). Oh, and did I mention, you get all their Su and Sp abilities, as well as their Ex's? Who needs Shapechange?

Solar was a joke. I was trying to illustrate how retardedly broken the class was and used the first thing with crap-loads of su/sp abilities that was an Outsider I could think of...

Try Sylph...cast spells as a sorceror 4 levels above your hitdice.
Or Efreeti...Wish as an SLA.

I think you get the idea.

I do indeed.. Does anyone know how you might be able to wild shape into a neutral magical beast - Exhaulted Wild Shape only allows good magical beasts???

If your dm uses the standard planes. Planar Shepard and the plane that is home to all animals. The Beastlands, I think its called.

You can get magical beast wildshaping only through epic level and the sorces you have already noted. The Shifter is a PrC from 3.0 that functions as an epic MoMF. Awesome if you are going higher.

MoMF is considered to be the "update" to shifter.

Good luck with that. It's considered possibly the single most broken class out there.

Oh I don't know.. Tome of Battle is pretty broken, Shadow Mage, DMM Persistance, Shapechange spell..

Pretty sure there have been extensive analysises (I'm sure that's not the right plural. Analyses?) and proofs done to show that ToB is not actually broken. And yes, the Killer Gnome, the DMM Persist cleric, and the Shapechange spell are all broken. Those are builds, feats or spells though. The Planar Shepherd is horrendously broken without any optimisation. The class itself is inherently just that good.
