#1 padlach May 16, 2008 2:33:00	Need help plz this is my first dnd character and my dm has decided that on this campaign each character gets a special spell that relates to their backstory I am a half elf druid aged 17. I am the child of a powerful druid (father) This druid was so intouch with nature that he was given a precious gift from his Godess Ehlona (not sure of the spellin tho). He was given a special plant as a token of gratitude for his help and devotion to nature. This plant, with much love and care slowly became attached to him(my father), literally. over time, it bound to his arm and grew long thin thorns that were as strong as steel. It eventually grew into his arms blood stream and became attached. These long thorns that protruded from the where the plant ended, just before his wrist, were excellent melee weapons and the plant developed many magical Later on, my father wassaving nature when he was confronted by a dragon which he managed to kill by stabbing in the head as it was breathing fire. He was disintigrated entirely but the plant which was fire resistant speared the dragon through the roof of its mouth . On the event of my fathers death the plant unbound and now i have the duty of looking after it. It is at this time completely seperate and is in need of care to help it bind to me. at the moment it will only bind with magic Anyway i need and spell to suit this story and my duty with the plant. and i got no idead at all. Also i forgot if u need my stats i hav: lvl 2 druid (wolf companion if it helps) 14str 12con 15dex 17wis 15int 11cha
#2 manic_man May 16, 2008 2:36:33	Definitely create water. That way you can bring the plant along to the desert adn it'll survive ;)
#3 joemama1512 May 16, 2008 15:19:14	Go check out the book of legacy weapons or whatever. You should treat the plant as a legacy item that unlocks as you gain levels. Root through the spellbooks and find appropriate stuff and let it cast them a few times per day as you gain levels, at your caster level. some ideas for spells to Unlock. shillage spikes thornskin or whatver its called. Splinterwood (or whatever.. the 2nd level scorching ray equivalent..very flavorful) speak with plant barkskin treant form awaken (tree only, no xp penalty, lower duration maybe) shapechange (plant forms only)
