I am new to the forums so go easy but I was wondering if I could get some suggestions for my current character.

He is a Half-Orc Druid/Barb 1/1 right now the only feat he has is combat casting. I don't have my character sheet on hand right now but can post later stuff later.

I would like more levels in druid then barb.

If you need more info I can give it when I get to my CS.

Standard Barb or variant? If you have the Lion Totem from Complete Cheese then you haven't wasted a level entirely. If you don't, you can basically can the character from a CO perspective.

If you want to make a raging shapechanger take a look at the Primeval from Frostburn.

If you want to make a great character who can cast and fight and has a permanent minion, scrap that level of barb and go straight druid. There is also a rage variant druid in UA, although I think it loses to straight druid.

Ahem. 1/2 Orc with the RoDestiny substitution levels is one of the stronger available options for Druid (probably after Gnome and Human), especially without diving through multiple sources for LA+0 options. Do you have access to Races of Destiny? What other sources are available?

Given that you want more Druid than Barb, Barb 1/Druid 19 is, in all honesty, probably your best option. Unless your DM banned it, you want Natural Spell at 6th level. Extend Spell is a worthwhile 3rd level investment to keep you or your party buffed for longer.

Nov 05, 2008 17:15:17 I Have most of the books to use for sources including the RoDestiny. I am following the Half orc option for the druid. I think what I am looking for would be feats. I am probably going mostly druid but want atleast a couple mor ranks in Barb. Thanks for the help so far though.
