Dual Wield w/ a Two Handed

Sep 29, 2008 17:50:00 Not sure about this...but lets say you have a great sword and both your hands are full. Would attacking with something like boot dagger, knee dagger, elbow dagger, etc allow you to dual wield?

Sep 29, 2008 18:16:27 Nothing in the rules exactly, but there are rules for Monks wielding a staff allowed multiple attacks via "kicks" and other attacks.

However, this would likely be resolved as a type of armed "unarmed" combat using an exotic / improvised weapon along with Two-weapon fighting penalties.

If I was a DM, I would require either Improved Unarmed and/or Exotic Weapon Proficiency along with Two-weapon fighting rules (and accompanying feat chain). Ask DM, his word is god in regards to what you can do in your game.

Yes, you can TWF with a Greatsword and, for example, a Boot Dagger or Armor Spikes - not both in conjunction with Greatsword without additional shenanigans. It's a relatively common way to get the most of a physically strong Ranger-type, for instance. Some DMs do object to the scent of limburger, but it's legal RAW.

Yes, you can TWF with a Greatsword and, for example, a Boot Dagger or Armor Spikes - not both in conjunction with Greatsword without additional shenanigans. Nah not saying both Sword/Boot dagger/ Armor Spikes...Saying Sword/ Boot dagger or Armor spikes for instance...

I thinkit would be neato.

(You can’t also make an attack with armor spikes if you have already made an attack with another off-hand weapon, and vice versa.)"

Yes, using Two-Weapon Fighting with a two-handed weapon as the primary weapon and armor spikes as the offhand weapon is perfectly legitimate.
