It has a 4th lvl ability that allows you to treat the spiked chain as a one-handed weapon. What I am looking for is, since it dosent say that by doing so it removes the reach property, does the ability allow me to use 2 spiked chains at the same time? |

My advice if you want to do it is try and make up a build stub yourself and then post that and you'll get much more feedback. A good place to start might be to think about the usual rules for making a two weapon fighting build-- you need a source of non-strength based bonus damage to make dual wielding worthwhile in terms of damage dealt. One thought that occurred to me is that the spiked chain is a Shadow Hand (see tome of battle) preferred weapon and therefore if you take the Shadow Blade feat you could add your dex to damage with is very useful for a two weapon fighter since high dex is already their mandate. Also, spiked chain is finesseable...get the Assassin's stance in shadow hand and maybe some other sneak attack and you're on your way to doing respectable damage while dual wielding two reach weapons, which while it may not be the most optimized TWF build is nothing to sneeze at, either. |

Oversized Two-Weapon Fighting only lets you reduce the -4 to hit to a -2. If you have a good B.A.B. getting an extra Two-Weapon Fighting/Multiweapon Fighting feat might do more good. If your DM lets it count for Scorpion Chains instead of/in addition to Spiked Chains, a Thri-Kreen Dervish quad-wielding Scorpion Chains would be quite funny. |
