Duskblade with 4 arms

Hi I am new here and read a lot about the Duskblade already, which was very helful. But my problem is a little bit more specific.

The difficulty I have is, that I am not sure, if should go straight with the Duskblade or multiclass it. I would love to multiclass (Rouge Scout or Fighter).

The race I want to take is a Chitine (Underdark). What brings besides the 4 arms also + 2 LA and +2 Level as a monstrous humanoid --- ECL + 4.

My stats:

STR 15
DEX 17 (19)
KON 15 (17)
INT 15 (17)
WIS 13
CHA 11 (7)

I am afraid that I will never reach the 13. Level with the Duskblade. Because we will start around Level 8. Which means for me Dusk only level 4 in the beginning because of ECL +4.

I am open and thankful for any suggestion. Also completely new ideas can be nice.

Thanks

Is the race selection fixed? It's crappy.

Duskblades aren't really fans of two weapon fighting (or 4 for that matter) Arcane channeling only effect one weapon...
So if you want to deliver touch spells perhaps go for spellflower (SpC) + Garillions (?) Blessing and some Gish build. (Abj. Cham...?)
It should help you go nova...

Or perhaps just a rougue/TWF build...

But i agree - don't like that race...

Hmm, in the Players Handbook II is written, that from 13th level on the channeling is part of a Full attack action.
They write that every enemy I hit during my attack round is affected with the spell I cast but only using one spell and not using a new spell for every attack I make.
I think that is what I am looking forward to and this make the choice for a character with four arms interesting for the Duskblade. It is just quite a long way to go to the 13th level.

Perhaps I am wrong but for me it seems extremely powerful, because I would use Multiweaponfighting+ Improved Multiweapon Fighting and Greater multiweapon fighting which grants me 10 Attacks which will deliver all the same spell with all the bonuses.

You can't affect a target more than once with a spell. How many people are you going to be able to reach with your weapons?

Multiweapon fighting is also the best way to get the most out of the Arcane Strike, right? Or is that limited to one weapon, too?

Edit: I checked. It works.

However, I would very carefully calculate whether this is worthwhile.

Only one weapon. Only works with multiple natural attacks. If you are using multiweapon fighting, you fight with normal weapons.

Hmm, that would take the wording very literally. It says "a melee weapon, your natural attack or natural weapons." YES that implies one weapon, but it doesn't put any imperative on it. It say "all your attack rolls" multiple times after that. I would stress "all attack rolls" higher than "a melee weapon", because it doesn't at any later point stress a single weapon.
In any case the wording contradicts itself to a certain degree, so you're probably down to DM decision. I would allow it. You're already shooting yourself in the foot with a four-armed, LA + RHD creature.

[EDIT] I'm wrong. See below. [/Edit]

A == one
a couple == two
a few == three
too many == as many as you can handle + 1

All your attack rolls yes... with that one weapon. Thats why it' placed after the "a" part. You can't take code from one spot in your program and place it else where and expect the program to work.

Which is why thri-keen would work well here.

I SHOULD learn how to read to the end. It's right there in the example. DOH. ("... single melee weapon of his choice.")

Ok, forget my suggestion.

Notice that part of the Multi-WF chain in 3.5 is epic....

No it is not epic. It may be located in the epic handbook (as well as other sourcebooks) but the feats are listed as general feats and thus you can take them at any time.

Yes, but that monk will be dealing damage equal to his unarmed strike damage, not his natural weapon damage. So he is fighting with normal weapons, too :P

Ok I thought I can deliver the spell several times at one enemy. I think this seems to be wrong.

But if I would wear in my first two hands a reach weapon and 2 light ones in my other two off hands would that mean that I could reach one enemy far away and two which are close to me. And I can even enlongen one of those attacks with a swift action (stretch weapon) and can decide to reach a more distant enemy with my reach weapon or two in 10 ft. distance with my main and one secondary weapon.

I am just afraid it will take too long to get to 13th level.

How is it if I play him just as a fighter.

I thought of a Rouge Swashbuckler Fighter Combination

Swashbuckler gives me isightful strike
Fighter feats
and Rouge a lot of skills

with Daring Outlaw the sneak progression rasises with the Rouge and Swash
which is also nice.

I just would like to use some magic, thats why I came to the Duskblade...

Arcane Strike for charging up the weapon is a Free Action. So, you can charge up all 4 weapons and go, as a certain famous Ranger would say, "butt-kicking for Goodness!"

I would point out that a human duskblade has just enough feats to get EWP spiked chain and the Whirlwind feat at level 13. Whirlwind says it hits all enemies within reach and if you arcane channel vampiric strike you could, possibly, hit 24 enemies with your weapon and vampiric strike.

Find someway to add Black Lore of Moil to that and you have a lot of damage to a lot of foes for a lot of temporary HP.

Don't go for whirlwind attack. There is a +1 weapon enhancement that grants you whirlwind attack 3/day. Power attack, knowledge devotion and obtain familiar/improved familiar are far better choices.
