The only way I've figured this could work is if I was in a gestalt setting but, you guys might be able to figure something out better. While looking through some books I noticed the Ascetic Mage feat but, the wording seems to make it that you can only multiclass Sorcerer and Monk for the bonus. Also with that the Unarmed Strike damage doesn't even go up as you gain levels in Sorcerer. I also noticed that I could go into Enlightened Fist and do something similar to the Duskblade/Monk but, I wouldn't be able to channel my spells until at the least 8th level. I almost think without gestalt the Enlightened Fist would be the easiest going Monk/Sorcerer and taking Ascetic Monk, going Monk/Wizard Focused Specialist (with Necromancy or Evocation), or possibly even going Monk/Dread Necromaner. I'd like the Duskblade/Monk build but, if I go that route I can't change ray spells into touch spells like the Enlightened Fist and I don't get as many spells. Unless I do the Sorcerer/Monk I'm most likely going to take Kung Fu Genious so I don't have to rely on Wis so much. |

Well let me first start off by saying that the dusk blades ability is un-nessasary you can already channel touch attacks through unarmed strikes. so in theory a wizard/monk or a sorc/monk is better i belive even a warmage/monk would be better... you could go rogue/monk/sorc/Enlightened Fist/the ray specialist from complete scoundrel. but monk/duskblade is pointless.. no offence |

Now it's deciding what is the best way to get a bunch of touch and ray spells. Warmage would be good... I'll look tomorrow but, I'll also ask so I might not have to. Out of a Warmage, a Sorcerer, or a Focused Specialist Wizard which would get the most touch/ray spells per day? |

Add in a good selection of magic items ( rings of wizardry ) and you would be good to go with a solid mobil gish. Personaly i played ( mostly for rp reasons and we were in a low magic setting ) i played a version based off of sorcerer with ardent savant thrown in for 100+ AC into the Epic levels an relied on a divine power and arcane strike to power my Offense |
