| #1smudgyhandsmanMar 06, 2008 21:23:10 | I thinking ( and hoping) that some of you may know of Gotrek, the dwarven slayer from Warhammer. If you do, then maybe you could help me on this build I'm trying to set up. It's kind of tough considering they wear no armor, but I'm taking a shot at it just because it's so damn cool. Here's what I got. Race: Dwarf Chaotic Good Str 18 Dex 8 Con 19 Int 10 Wis 15 Cha 5 Barbarian 1: Weapon focus(dwarven waraxe) Ranger 2:Track Ranger 3:Two weapon Fighting, Reckless Rage Barbarian 4, +1 Con Ranger 5:Endurance Deepwarden 6:Extra Rage Deepwarden 7 Exotic Wpn Master 8: Uncanny Blow, +1 Wis From then on I'm not sure where to go. I'm going to get a monk's belt to get my Wisdom to my AC, and deepwarden help's with Con to AC(and it fits well with the slayer). Uncanny blow lets me do some good damage with my axe, and raging only makes me better. I know it's not the most optimized for armor, but slayer's are known for not wearing any, and it's awesome. So what I'm asking is, where do I go from here? Should I continue in barbarian, or is their a better option? Do you have any recommendations for making my AC any better? I'm pretty sure my DM is going to let me get tattooes(tattoos?) or armor for my body slot, instead of bracers. Books available are: PHB, DMG, PHBII, Complete series-champion,and races of stone. No ToB or UA stuff, unfortunately. Sorry I won't be able to check upon this thread until later tomorrow, very busy at the moment, but I'll check it first thing to respond to comments. Thanks in advance for any help, sorry if I missed anything. |

Barbarian 1/Ranger 3/Fist of the Forest 1/Deepwarden 2/Fighter 2/Exotic Weapon Master 2/X 9 1) Improved Unarmed Strike 2) Track (Ranger bonus) 3) Great Fortitude Power Attack (Ranger bonus, Strongarm Combat Style from Dragon Magazine) 4) Endurance (Ranger bonus) 6) Extra Rage Track (Deepwarden bonus) 8) Improved Bull Rush (Fighter bonus) 9) Shock Trooper Weapon Focus (Dwarven Waraxe)(Fighter bonus) 10) Uncanny Blow stunt 11) Exotic Trip stunt 12) Leap Attack 15) Improved Sunder / Combat Reflexes (Boost your Dex if you want this) 18) Combat Brute / Robilar's Gambit You get Con to AC twice with this build, just pick up a Monk's Belt and some Bracers of Armor for an extra boost. Hope this helps somewhat for your idea, ~Bowen |

You need the Great Fortitude feat to enter Fist of the Forest... you'll have to switch extra rage and great fort to get FotF by lvl 5 |
