Hi,

I was hoping I could get some help, pointers, advice, warnings on the following build. Party dynamics right now are a halfling rogue/assassin, dwarf warblade, dwarf wizard, human cleric/Radiant Servant of Pelor, and me... I was planning on taking an Eldritch Disciple and doing a glaivelock thing and kind of being the back up healer and melee combatant. We are all 9th level.

My build.
Cloistered Cleric 1 - Extra turning, extend spell
Warlock 1
Cloistered Cleric 2 - Persistant spell
Cloistered Cleric 3
Cloistered Cleric 4
Eldritch Disciple 1 - Divine metamagic (persistant spell)
Eldritch Disciple 2
Eldritch Disciple 3
Eldritch Disciple 4 - Mitigate suffering
Hellfire Warlock 1
Hellfire Warlock 2
Hellfire Warlock 3 - Travel devotion
Eldritch Disciple 5
Eldritch Disciple 6
Eldritch Disciple 7 - ?
Eldritch Disciple 8
Eldritch Disciple 9
Eldritch Disciple 10 - ?

I will be a follower of Lirr (CD pg 122) taking the Travel domain and sacrificing the Knowledge domain for Knowledge devotion feat.

Pretty much all 3.5 WotC books are available some campaign specific stuff usually needs to be approved by the dm, but he's cool. Like I said before I'm looking for any pointers any advice on tactics and things I should be wary of. I'm not sure what I want to do with the last 2 levels or feats...

Any and all input is greatly appriciated. If I left any info out let me know.

Thanks

Did you look through the glaivelock mini-guide? One thing that comes to mind is switching to Cloistered Cleric and taking Knowledge Devotion.

What domains are you capable of taking? Are you following an ideal or a god? Also, I agree with Phaedrus, take CC and swap out Knowledge Domain for Knowledge Devotion. Pick up Collector of Stories skill trick, and you're looking at +1-2 damage per hit extra.

Thanks guys!!! Done and done. Updated my build.

I was going to be a follower of Lirr. Our campaign is kind of Greyhawkish. (We're getting ready to start the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk.) I was going to go with the Travel and Knowledge domains, but now I'll give up the knowledge domain for the devotion feat.

I've looked through the Glaivelock mini-guide and the Warlock Information Compilation and need to go back and browse some more.

Again thanks guys and any more input would be appreciated.

You might want to reconsider those hellfire warlock levels, I don't like losing the 9th level cleric spells even if there is another cleric in the party.

As far as finishing the build goes 2 levels of contemplative and divine oracle each will give you 2 more domains and a couple of decent abilities., that leaves you 1 level to play with and another level of cloistered cleric or warlock wouldn't kill the build.
