Hey everyone. I am looking for a few ideas. I have had a charactr idea I have been wanting to play for a while, though I am not sure how to build it... at least I don't know how to build it "good"

I am looking at playing a half-orc rogue-type. He is sort of a rogue, but may be considered an enforcer type for a roguish organization. He duel wields weapons. I had originally thought that I wanted to have his main weapon be a bastard sword, though I am now fine with a longsword as well. I want him to move around the battlefield a lot, though still being able to duel wield. (I had thought of using Scout, though I wouldn't be able duel weild when I charge or anything. The character is very intimidating. It would also be good to have a level of barbarian just so he can rage occasionally.

PRCs and options I have explored, and think might work. Scout, Rogue, City-based ranger varient from Unearthed Arcana, Tempest, Ghostwalker.

I'll provide more info when I am awake. For now this is just preliminary overview.

What books are you allowed?
Are you allowed dragon material?
Are you playing Pathfinder?
Have you considered a bard-barian?

Pathfinder Half-orc Bard 5/Mindbender 1/Lion Totem-Whirling Frenzy Barbarian 1/Battle Howler of Gruumsh 5/Lyric Thaumaturge 5/Half-Orc Paragon 3 (not necessarily in that order)

Optimized for pounce/charge and 2-handed weapons and Inspire Courage is a sight to behold. Melee attacks can all be touch attacks with average damage easily in the 80's per hit. That kind of thing screams, to me, 'enforcer for the mob'.

If you want to go with something more subtle...

Pathfinder Half-orc Scout 3/Monk 2/Lion Totem-Whirling Frenzy Barbarian 1/Ranger 14 (not necessarily in that order)

With Ascetic Hunter and Swift Hunter get's you full monk unarmed damage (with monks belt), 17th level equivalent Skirmish/Favored Enemy, and a whole lot of sinergies. Take the Arcane Hunter and Spell Reflection ACFs from Complete Mage at Ranger 1 and 9 (respectively), and you're a pretty solid anti-caster on top of it. Take the Urban and/or Mystic Ranger variants for added flavor/umph.

All of that assumes you are either playing under Pathfinder (or using several of there rules, like no more mult-class penalties, as house-rules) and Dragon material is allowed (it's 'official' now).

If you have your book list allowed and any pertinent house-rules, someone can give you more accurate advice.

This is Major BULL CRAP. Nothing anyone here did. My stupid Piece of #$%# Internet connection. I wrote a reply that took about a half hour detailing things, and just as I hit send it fell off the internet and I lost the whole #$%%$##@$^^&%$#$$%^&^%$#$@## thing.

Anyway, I don't want to retype the whole thing, actually, I would like too have it retyped, but don't want to do it.

To summarize, I am allowed everything in all books. Also, we are gestalt.

What I want for the character is to be able to dual weild a bastard sword (or longsword, though Bastard just seems more imposing.) and a bladed gauntlet of some sort. I want to be have a sneak attack like ability that I can use regularly without requiring to flank with someone all the time. (Which is where Scout came in, though its not the only way to do something like that and I have to give up full attacks with it.) He also needs rogue like skills and abilities though doesn't need to be as good as a pure rogue with them. I also want him intimidating, though a lot of that, might end up just being roleplaying, as the only class I know of that has anything goo for that is the Samurai which will not work for this character.

For all that I have thought of several different classes. Exotic Weapon Master, Shadowdancer (though it doesn't feel right), Scout, etc.

I have also thought of using a different character based more on stealth. A rogue type with Craven. Maybe a Warlock/Rogue that uses invis all the time, and either blasts people for EB +SA or uses Eldritch Glaive for the same effect with a full attack action.

Gestalt...really?

In that case you could do some combination of both the above and be really nasty...

Gestalt Half-Orc

Lion Totem Whirling Frenzy Barbarian 2/Bard 5/Mindbender 1/Battle Howler of Gruumsh 5/Lyric Thuamaturge 7//Scout 5/Mage Hunter, Spell Reflection Ranger 15

If I remember my gestalt rules right, thats BAB 20, full Skirmish, Full Favored Enemy, 6+int or better skills, d8 or better hit dice, 10th level bardic music (IC potentially ~+7), rage 3/day, 18th level bardic casting, 15th level ranger casting, and bardic music while in rage (amongst many other things).

Seems worth it to me, other than the massive MAD you'll have.

Ranger would give you TWF tree as bonus feats, so from there, all you'd need to wield your prefered style is EWP for Bastard Sword. If you want to dual wield bastard swords, you'd also need Oversized TWF.

This is why I don't play Gestalt...

There's also the classic:

Warblade 20//Factotum 20

Which is genius in it's simplicity.

I also like:

Druid 20//Anything Else you want

One suggestion I'll just toss out there. For sneak attack-like damage without needing to flank or move (for skirmish), you might want to look into the Cityscape web enhancement. The scout has an alternate class feature called Riposte. It works basically the same way as Skirmish (same damage/AC progression), but it works when someone attacks you. There's also a feat in PH2 I can't remember the name of off-hand that triggers sneak attack and related damage every time you crit.

I would go with Swordsage 20//Druid 10/MoMF 10.

YUP! I think that would suit your Enforcerer type

A shadow pouncer sounds like it would work really well. Wayyy easier to do with gestalt too. Find the Jaunter PrC in Expedition to the Demonweb Pits and The Telflammar Shadow Lord PrC. Go full caster on one side and a build that shadowpounces on the other.
