Equipping a Favored of the Fiends

For reference, Favored of the Fiends is a Favored Soul variant found in Exemplars of Evil that lets you use claws and fangs instead of getting the WF/S line. The build concept - not terribly optimized I admit, but damned funny - is using Blood Wind and ultimately dipping Bo9S to get into Bloodstorm Blade and throw my natural attacks :D. Aside from the natural attacks, I'll carry a net (deity is Marduk), and use Necromantic Presence/Fell Frighten to cow my foes.

Unfortunately, equipping a character is always my weakest link. I'd like items that augment my intended style of natural attacks and fear-mongering, and, obviously, shore up weaknesses.

Right now the newly minted character is FS 9 (with necropolitan) with 49k gp for equipment. I know I'm taking a +2 Fire Resistant Chain Shirt - so sayeth the DM. What are good enhancements for a Net? What are solid equipment options for improving the claw/bite damage more than once or twice a day at this level?

Your time and input are appreciated.

Are you sure about being a pure FS? How about something like this?

Obviously some feats will change, such as Initiate of Lathander, and you might as well dump Elder Giant Magic. Priest of the Waste and some other Initiate feat are good ideas.

Hi CantripN; I'm glad to see someone who's actually built a Favored of the Fiends posting here. I actually already checked out both your FS/FotFnd builds, looking for various tips and such. The Initiate feats are a no-go for alignment concerns as well as homebrew world reasons. With the average characters submitted thus far, too much cheese will just leave me out of the game as being too powerful relative to the group. Necropolitan FS 9/Warblade 1/Bloodstorm Blade 8/ 1 is likely as cheesy as it can get.

The DM allows one flaw (excluding Murky-Eyed, Inattentive for non-recon folks, Shaky for meleeists and Non-Combatant for spellcasters). I took Vulnerable. Feats line up at this point as: EWP (Net), Multiattack, Improved Natural Attack (Claws), Improved Natural Attack (Bite), PBS, Daunting Presence, Fell Frighten.

What gear to give him is my biggest concern.
