| #1thegrantedJun 07, 2009 20:03:40 | So I'm running a new campaign and one of my players wants to bring back an old character concept of his. The character is basically a lovable moron/comic relief(taking a 6 INT) for a rather serious party. The character walks around with a dead rabbit proclaiming it to be his diety. After the smell begins to bother, the rest of the party finds a new rabbit, and replaces it while he's sleeping. Should the rabbit change in color, or size, he prclaims it as proof of divinity and continues his preaching. The character was originally to be a Barbarian, but he has since chosen to go Druid and wants his dead rabbit to be his animal companion. I, being a liberal dm, want to make it work, but the only way I see how is completely warping the "animal" part. And Gentle Repose isn't an option yet. I figure it could be the ghost of the original rabbit, that occasionally manifests the newer rabbits, when he and the genius are alone. Or maybe a parasite, that changes from rabbit to rabbit? The question is, how do I stat a ghost rabbit for the animal companion track, or, is there already some parasite that exists that somehow fits my needs? Help me optimizers, you're my only hope. |

(Only if it was an animal companion before dying/returning, though.) (or the ghost brute template, if a rabbit has Cha < 6. I couldn't find rabbits in either the SRD or the monster index) |

| #5vglcatJun 08, 2009 12:38:05 | have you considered making the rabbit an actual god? I, mean being realistic here it could be the weakest god known to man..... or rabbit, as the case may be :D |

Your best bet would be to use the stats for the hare from Oriental Adventures. They're located in the races section with the Hegeyoki. |
