So for game reasons I'm an Evoker (after reading the posts about evokers I know I've been cursed by this!)

So what feats and banned schools?

I believe I once saw a feat that allowed you to get back a school you'd otherwise lose by specilisation, anyone know of it?

Otherwise what to go for?

I'm going blaster (I assume)

Apparently have twice normal spells due to an item (not sure what it is yet, but as it was a freebie for playing this character I thought why not?!

Am evil so the normal giving up necromancy seems like a waste when I can actually do it.

Though we do have a paladin so got to be careful. Or kill him. I'll start by being careful.

Otherwise I'm thinking of playing him dumb, to be able to fireballs and kill amny people and then say he didn't realise he'd catch them (can a paladin kill you for being stupid? Equal opporrtunities for all!)

edit: also is there an evoker, specialist or wizard book? As I can't seem to find them?

The feat Arcane Transfiguration (requires Spell Reprieve, Item Reprieve, wizard specialist level 10th) from Lost Empires of Faerûn allowes that.

Excellent start!

Thanks for that Koenig. 3 feats however does make it a problem. Still maybe the wizard bonus feats can be used for this to get it at 10th level?

Talk to your DM about allowing flaws, that should help with feats.

Look around in the Book of Vile Dorkness. There is a Spell Focus (Evil) feat, and I think optional spell components that can add the Evil descriptor to a spell that normally lacks it. That would be a way to boost all of your save DCs by +1.

You know you spend one dose of an optional spell component per casting? And 2 for spell level 2, 3 for spell level 3, etc.? I hope these prospective components are cheap.

Enchantment is almost always a banned school unless your going for the whole
I WANT OVER 9000 MINIONS (being that ur a bad guy)

I made a nuker, I believe I put in on my blog post (lol my only one >.<)
community.wizards.com/mervin_magnus/blog...

The idea is:
your a kobold that is a warlock/sorcerer
with the combined draconic powers of infinite warlock blasting and typical sorc nuking
dmg goes WAY up

Thanks for the replies all.

Yes flaws are something to look into. I assume I can find a thread for good flaws to take? The problem with most flaws is.... they take away something so you're less than average and I like being a good all rounder!

Noticed the double thread when I came back to look at this. Never knew I'd done it and hadn't shown up before? Deleted now.

As for the rest. It's all about waiting to get the limitations, or getting in there first with ideas!
