I'm so gonna play a Shadowcaster, and that build probably don't fit this board :D

BUT

I wanted to spice the build up a bit so I picked the Exoticist class from DRAGON310, which lets you pick 4 Exotic Weapon Proficiencies.

I want a bow and the Elven-Double bow feels like a Composite Bow with a twist, is there a better ranged alternative?

Jovar (Planar Handbook)
Primary weapon.

Double Scimitar (Arms and Equipment Guide)
Awesome look.

Kusari-Gami (DMG)
Reach, trip and disarm, good all-round weapon.

Elven-Double Bow (Arms and Equipment Guide)

Ranged:
Harpoon (Frostburn) <-- probably the cheesiest, if you know what you're doing
Greatbow (Complete Warrior?) <-- yawn
Boomerang (Talenta or Xendrik; Eberron Campaign Setting) <-- I like this one the best

Melee:
Sharktooth Staff (Savage Species) <-- rock 'n' roll-a, Ayatollah!

Tigerskull Club. Bludgeoning wooden weapon.

Throw a Spikes and a Greater Mighty Wallop on this badboy, and throw in a level of Exotic Weaponmaster and watch the hurt pile up.

as a Shadowcaster .... you probably will have a Great Dex, but lousy Str.... try this focus on Finnessable weapons ... thus :

1)Courtblade, Elven(RotW p165) 2Hand 1d10 18-20 / x2 — P or S 150 gp 6 lbs 10 10 Finesse, Shared Focus (Greatsword)

2)Spinning Sword (Secrets of Sarlona):one handed,1d6(19-20/x2) slashing, 50gp, 10' reach and Adjacent, Finnessable

3)Rapier, Quickblade(CAdv p116) 1Hand 1d6 18-20 / x2 — P 75 gp 3 lbs
Finesse, Disarm +2, Feint +2, When wielded with 2 hands, only add Strength modifier to damage (instead of 150%),Shared Focus (Rapier)

4)Greatbow(CWar p156)(CAdv p116)+(DR349 p22)— 1d10 20 / x3 120’ P 150 gp 6 lbs
Cannot be used while mounted, Shared Focus (Longbow)

everything is Based on Dex to reduce MAD.... and you are effective at any style of fighting you like(Direct Damage, Disarming, Reach, Ranged,etc...)

Big thanks all.

Yeah, I'll have high Dex so I'll probably go for Weapon Finesse. I'm only a little undecided on the Kusari-Gama vs Scorpion Chain, you can have 2 Kusari-Gamas and the Chain ain't that much better.

Spinning Sword now, eh :P

Secrets of Sarlona, never seen that book... Seems like a good weapon though.
