#1 countmein Aug 06, 2009 16:40:17	Does eagle's splendor give me two extra turn attempts? This is to get 7 total attempts to use divine metamagic (persist). If the answer is YES, how do I convince my dm.
#2 lotusblossom Aug 06, 2009 16:41:38	It does, but when the spell wears off you lose them again. Think of it like the hp you gain from Bear's Endurance. In other words, use them ALL while the spell is active.
#3 deoxhydroxinate Aug 06, 2009 16:45:26	Yes. Your charisma is increased so your attempts / day increase as well. To convince the DM, point out the mechanic of turning in the PHB, as it shows your number per day equal 3 + charisma modifier. As your modifier goes up, your turns go up (through eagles splendor). After the buff wears off, your turns per day drop back to normal, since your charisma has now reverted back to it's original stat.
#4 eviltedzies Aug 06, 2009 16:49:32	So theoretically coulnd't we buff our charisma by +4 and use two turn attempts. Then remove Eagles splendor and recast it to regain two "new" turn attempts?

You are now like this: Turns per day: 5 Turns used today: 5 Now you cast eagle's splendor. You now look like this: Turns per day: 7 Turns used today: 5 You use your two new turns. Now you look like this: Turns per day: 7 Turns used today: 7 The spell wears off. Now you look like this: Turns per day: 5 Turns used today: 7 You cast Eagle's Splendor again, bringing yout turns per dya back up to seven. But you've already used seven turn undead attempts today. You now look like this again: Turns per day: 7 Turns used today: 7 No extra uses.
