#1 sofawall Apr 06, 2009 21:21:52	At level 19 of factotum, you gain the ability to use other classes ex. abilities. If I were to be a sneaky sneakster (whisper gnome), what sort of ex. abilities should I be nabbing? Just found a fun one: Strike from the void, iaijutsu master. EDIT: Boo, it has to be a standard class. No prestige classes for me.
#2 bahamut920 Apr 07, 2009 0:49:34	Hide in plain sight (ranger). Skill mastery (rogue). Hell, almost anything from the rogue or scout classes is good. Too bad you can't grab Freedom (the capstone scout ability). Insightful strike (swashbuckler).
#3 cru Apr 07, 2009 7:41:52	Arguably, you could take Ex abilities from various racial substitution levels. For example, RotW has the halfling rogue's Sniping Mastery (hide after ranged attacks with -10 as a free action). Other generic stuff - energy resistance 10 to 3 energies (favored soul) - energy immunity (dragon shaman) - DR, NA (dragonfire adept) - auras (marshall) - unicorn companion (healer) (for some healing/flanking)
