#1 manshoun11 Mar 16, 2012 10:42:59	I want to help my friend who's gonna play a fallen pally into blackguard of shar human level 13  stas 18-17-16-15-14-12   he's historic  is very nice.  He was a paladin fighting against evil undead, until a master one kidnap his two girls and transform them into undead.  He finally kill the undeads but he doesnt understand why tyr god of justice let's this happen.  So he going very mad and does something bad like kill a priest who say nothing happen for nothing.  So his spririt was sad, mad etc.....  so shar (god of fallen and darkness)  bring him to her religion.    If you have some idea for his character build with this information, i will tell to him (sorry if my english is not so good, I speak french)
#2 Maat_Mons Mar 16, 2012 14:20:42	Personally, I think a fallen paladin should be allowed to trade in his levels in paladin for levels in paladin of tyranny (Unearthed Arcana). The hexblade class (Complete Warrior) is a good addition, unless your DM doesn't like adding cha to saves twice. The dark companion alternative class feature (Player's Handbook II) for hexblade is nice and synergizes with aura of despair, from paladin of tyranny. A single level of marshal (Miniatures Handbook) can be good for a high-cha character.
#3 Krusk Mar 17, 2012 10:15:27	Fighter 2/Paladin 2/Barbarian 1/Hexblade 1/Blackguard 10/Horizon Walker 4 He was a warrior militaristic paladin. On the front line really defending the faith. His madness is represented by barbarian. He goes berserk and cannot control himself, roams the wilderness doing questionable acts. He encounters an avatar of Shar who brings him into the fold. He has sworn off religion but is willing to serve her as he has no master. She explains how her religion suits him. It has no false promises of good (and othe evil rationalizations). Eventually he realizes he needs no ones approval, and walks free towards the horizon. Stats = Str> Cha > Con > Dex > Wis > Int Important feats = Power Attack, Extra Rage (Complete Warrior) If you have other books allowed, consider taking the lion totem barbarian. Hexblade is also complete warrior.
