Fastest path to Alternate Form SQ

So I have a character concept which is a good fit for the Master of Flies from Savage Species, and I was hoping to get some advice on how best to enter the class (the actual power of the PrC is nothing to write home about, which is probably why there's not much discussion of it on the CharOp board). The class has the Quick Change feat (from the same book) as a requirement, which in turn requires a high dex and the Alternate Form special quality.

Now, I'm probably going to be entering the campaign at about level 7 or 8, and I'll need five character levels to meet the necessary skill ranks for the Prestige Class (knowledge[nature] and escape artist, both of which can be handled by bard levels if I can't think of anything better), so I'd ideally like to qualify for the feat without any LA (or equivalent). The best I can find so far is the hengeyokai (LA+1) from Oriental Adventures, but I thought I'd through things over the CharOp board to try to wrangle an extra level of the PrC out of the system for me.

Any advice for a race or class which provides Alternate Form within the first couple of HD/levels?

Hengeyokai is, as of Dragon 318, LA +0 and Humanoid (Shapechanger).

Quick Change, as of Races of Eberron, is a Changeling-only racial feat.

Take your pick.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. Either of those work well, but I think I'll opt for the changeling.

Dragonlance, Age of Mortals has Alternate Form as a feat, I think you need some kind of draconic qualification for it, and 5 hd (from Memory)

The Master of flies is cool. I always thought that the powers could be slotted into Master of Many Forms as a sub-level.

Wildshape is based on Alternate Form rules now, I think, so that should qualify.
