Feat progression for a MoMF?

Joining a campaign this Sunday and I have no idea what other characters will be in the party. The only thing I know is that it isn't a completely optimized group, so MoMF seems like a great choice due to versatility and easily adjustable optimization level: I don't want to outshine any party members and make the DM raise the bar too high and end up killing everybody. At the sime time I'll always be ready to pull out some big guns should the need arise (I just read Harzerkatze's MoMF bible).

The party is currently at 4th level, so I should be able to ignore physical stats (except for CON) and fit the skill monkey role for a while until I get Wildshape. Been wanting to try the Wildshape Ranger for a while now and it seems like an optimal entry into MoMF, specially considering that I don't really want to worry about spells.

I thought about advancing Wildshape Ranger 5/MoMF 10/Nature's Warrior 5, with the possibility of taking two levels of Warshaper and only three of Nature's Warrior. Warshaper would probably be the optimal choice, but I wanted to keep the build as simple as possible and get full Wildshape progression.

Problem is, I'm clueless about feats. Do DMs normally allow Multiattack? By RAW it doesn't seem possible (nor does Improved Natural Attack), but it would fit nicely, I'll check with the DM. Other than that, maybe Power Attack?

The only feat I have to take is Alertness (prerequisite), so there's still one feat (two if human) I can take. I would really apreciate anything that enhances the character's versatility instead of long and specialized feat chains. I know there's Frozen Wildshape, anything else worh mentioning?

Race sugestions would also be apreciated. I thought about human (for the feat) and Mongrelfolk, perhaps with dragonborn for a truly uber CON (I might end up tanking), but the DM could find that a little weird (and a 24 starting CON could make him angry).

Any other details I should specify here?

Assume Supernatural Ability + Beholder makes for a great backup plan

Multiattack is explainable by you spending time training while in your animal forms to learn to use them more effectively. (Really hard to convince until after you have time to use your wild shape for that rather than combat.)

umm, Frozen Wildshape is pretty much mandatory just the Hydra form it grants alone is worth it.

Try some of the Druid handbooks. I thought I saw one in my links that had a section on wildshape. Dig around in my sig links and see what ya can find.
