Background: Our 18th level party is facing a fallen angel armed with an outsider-slaying artifact, the properties of which we are not fully aware of. I have Gate, and I want to summon something big and powerful. Because of the artifact, I don't want to summon an Outsider. I settled on the planar dragons, as they are big and stompy, and still extraplanar. (I already told my DM that I would not be using an Oceanus or Pyroclastic dragon because the former's Holy Word and the latter's high DC save or die breath would make the climactic battle un-fun) So in building some beefy dragons to be our main melee brutes for this battle, what feats do the brain trust here suggest?
