Apr 12, 2008 16:38:10 Just looking for feedback/suggestion on the following build, I think it's solid, but more eyes always helps. All non-setting books allowed, I'd like to keep total number of books down, just so I don't have transport too many.

Why are you picking cloistered cleric? If you are picking up heavy armor prof from another class, the HD hit still is signifigant.

Why TWF, unless there are alot of kickers on each strike, TWF is normally a poor choice of feats, especially for a primary caster.

Apr 14, 2008 21:10:16 Well, if you worship Tyr you can get the War and Knowledge domains. Tyr gets you weapon focus longsword, so than for feat you could go TWF and Oversized Two Weapon Fighting at first level. Weapon Finesse at third, Improved TWF at 9 and Greater TWF at 15.

Apr 14, 2008 21:20:41 If you are going with a Cloistered Cleric TWFer, have you considered Knowledge Devotion? It will provide some excellent bonuses to attack and damage, offsetting the penalties of attacking with two weapons.

Apr 14, 2008 21:36:34 If the prereq's for Church Inquisitor are correct, you can swap cc4 for chrin1 to get the Inquisition domain to burn before entering ord if you are willing to delay your BAB by 1 until 10th.

It's not a few minutes--you can have it for several levels. You can choose to give up a domain for a devotion feat; it doesn't say you have to do it as soon as you get the domain. IMO, the reasoning is pretty sound.

What level are you starting at? IMO, you need one Swordsage level at least. Otherwise, Shadow Blade kicks in too late; you're sinking feats and such into melee combat without being able to do it well.

4 starting at 3rd, I kinda agree with you on shadow blade, but to me it's much more important to hit early on than do higher damage early.
