Jun 05, 2008 12:36:58 i was thinking about making as my next character a fighter/barbarian, but without using the regular races for those classes, so i started looking through the monster manuals and others too, and i found ine that i really liked. It's a contruct from another plane, the MAUG (fiend folio, i think) with a LA +3. So what do you about this race for a fighter/barbarian? i would like to hear some opinions and maybe a few advices to make advantage of it!!!!!!:D

Post a build: What does your build look like?, What books are allowed?, What do you want to be able to do when your done?, What is your starting level? How many HD does the Creature have? (HD+LA=Min start level)

Read the Posting Guidelines.

Read the Fighter Handbook for thoughts, then read the Barbarian Handbook, then post your build.

Now my first recommendation would be iffy. I don't like giving up 3 levels worth of HP so unless you have some kind of buy off this is going to be harder.

Jun 07, 2008 20:49:31 well, we haven't finished our current campaign, i was just working ahead of time before presenting my maug character to the DM. All books are allowed but no dragon magazines. i haven't thought about the build yet because this would be my first melee character (i've always used casters). i just what it to turn foes into pulp:D

about the incarnate maug? if i put that template on it, then wouldn't it loose the ability to use grafts? cause those are the ones that call my attention (rollers... )
