I want to make a character that fights from a prone position, I don't really know what to do aside from possibly using bluff to feign death and then when they come near take an AoO to hop up and start tearing them a new one. This build will prolly need Some Monk, Rogue, and Cleric(for sloth domain). If anyone has a better idea for this let me know im still tossing ideas around. |

As mentioned, the Sloth domain (Spell compendium) removes the penalty to AC against melee attacks while prone. The 'kip up' ability for thief-acrobat and the 'back on your feet' skill trick from complete scoundrel let a character stand from prone as a free or swift action. |

Well if i can hit a DC 35 Tumble check I can stand as a free action without the need for a feat.(This is fairly do able with a magic item.) But If I recall there is a feat that lets you attack while prone and if you suceed you automatically stand up with No AoO. Anyone other Death Attacks out there? I am still AFB so I can check out BFZ so I guess I'll keep trying. |
