| #1felgorothSep 10, 2009 12:49:07 | So this only goes to 6th level but, I was wondering what else I might do to help the build. The build as is, is being used as an "assassin" in a game I'm running. Something that's not below is that the character is wearing Gauntlets of extended range which lets him/her throw anything at least 40ft.
1: Swordsage: Quick to Act +1, Discipline Focus: Shadow Hand (Weapon Focus with shadow hand weapons), Point Blank Shot (1st Level Feat, PHB), Far Shot (Human Feat, PHB), Precise Shot (Flaw 1, PHB), Rapid Shot (Flaw 2, PHB) 2: Swordsage: AC Bonus 3: Swordsage: Quick Draw (3th Level Feat, PHB) 4: Swordsage: Discipline Focus (Insightful Strike add Wis to strikes from shadow hand) 5: Swordsage: Quick to Act +2 6: Swordsage: Throw Anything (6th Level Feat, Complete Warrior)
Stances: Child of Shadow (if you move 10ft. gain concealment), Step of the Wind (ignore difficult terrain +2 on attacks against enemies in different terrain and +4 on opposed Str/Dex checks against bulrushes), Assassins Stance (gain Sneak Attack +2d6) Maneuvers: Shadow Blade Technique (roll 2d20 choose 1, higher die=normal attack, lower die or if they’re the same=normal attack+1d6 cold damage), Clinging Shadow Strike (Make a melee attack, if it hits it deals an extra 1d6 damage and next round the opponent must make a Fort. Save to negate having a 20% miss chance on his attacks), Mighty Throw (make melee touch attack against an opponent, my Dex+4 vs. their Str or Dex (whichever is higher), if I win I can throw them 10ft. into a non occupied square and they fall prone, if I can’t them they fall prone where they are), Counter Charge (immediately before the opponent charges I pick an opposed Str or Dex check, the opponent has to pick the same, If I’m smaller than the creature I gain a +4 on the Dex check, if they fail they do not get to attack and I can throw move 2 squares in any direction, if I fail they get a +2 on their charge and attack), Moment of a Perfect Mind (use a concentration check instead of a Will Save), Sapphire Nightmare Blade (make a concentration check with the DC of the opponents AC, if I succeed the opponent is flatfooted against my attack and I deal an extra 1d6 damage, if I fail I make the attack at a -2), Blistering Flourish (anyone in 30ft. must make a Fort. Save or be dazzled for 1 minute), Shadow Jaunt (teleport 50ft. as a standard action), Drain Vitality (make a attack, if it hits the opponent must make a Fort. Save, if they fail they take normal damage plus 2 points of Con damage), Shadow Garrote (make a ranged touch attack, if it hits it deals 5d6 damage also the opponent must make a Fort. Save DC: 17 or become flatfooted until the start of its next turn), Strength Draining Strike (make an attack, if it hits the opponent must make a Fort. Save, if they fail they take normal damage plus 4 points of Str damage)
