After asking and reading around with help of you, kind people of the CO, I've decided to make a fighter build that I find interesting, and I ask you some advice about it. Race: human Weapon: heavy flail Class: Fighter Lvl 1: Combat expertise, Power attack, Improved trip Lvl 2: Dungeon crusher ACF Lvl 3: Improved Bull Rush Lvl 4: Improved Sunder Lvl 5: - Lvl 6: Dungeon Crusher ACF, Shock Trooper Lvl 7: - Lvl 8: Combat Brute Lvl 9: Leap attack Lvl 10: Brute strike Lvl 11: - Lvl 12: Improved Initiative,Weapon focus (heavy flail) Then I'd like to go Occult Slayer. The main idea behind this build is that of a expert warrior whose strenghts are many: he can trip opponents good, can slam doors and enemies into walls with great effect, Sunder foes' weapons,quivers,bag of components, divine focus etc. and deal a great amount of damage via Power attack-Leap attack. All the while being impervious to magic thanks to Occult Slayer levels. What do you think about it? Is this a decent way to make a fighter? P.S.: if flaws and regional feats are allowed, Jotunbrud would be great,and the other bonus feat would be used to anticipate the requisites for the Prc. Thanks in advance. Flanagan
#2 carnivore Nov 15, 2008 14:17:15	looks ok ..... but: it seems as if you are trying to do too much..... focus on one tactic (Bull Rushing seems best since it works with Dungeon Crusher)... then focus on Damage... Charging is nice the only Problem is how to respond to others attacks on You..... id suggest this: Lvl 1: Power attack, Dodge, Mobility Lvl 2: Dungeon crusher ACF Lvl 3: Improved Bull Rush Lvl 4: Improved Sunder Lvl 5: - Lvl 6: Dungeon Crusher ACF, Combat Reflexes Lvl 7: - Lvl 8: Elusive Target Lvl 9: Leap attack Lvl 10: Combat Brute Lvl 11: - Lvl 12: Shock Trooper, Robilars Gambit this allows you to Negate others PA on you, and every attack they make, you get to hit back at Full BAB you will still have the majority of your tactical ability.... but you will have better defensive ability as well now(even with defense you will be able to attack) :D

One question: how do I obtain the ability to counter at full BAB in response to EVERY attack? Is Robilar' s Gambit that strong? And again: without Imp. Initiative and Weapon focus I can't become an Occult Slayer:are you suggesting me to wait another 3 levels to do that? Why Combat Brute before Shock trooper? Thanks again!

Combat Reflexes gives you #Attacks of opportunity/ round = Dex bonus Robilars Gambit gives you an AoO for every attack someone makes on you, even if they dont hit High Dex = lots of AoO this is how it will go: 1)you charge/Bull Rush get 1 attack 2)they hit back, you get to Attack them for every attack they make on you(up to Dex bonus # of AoOs) 3)they stop attacking you(either they are dead or will hit something less painful) 4)you continue until they are dead interesting Note.... you can Bull rush instead of Hitting them for your AoO Is Robilar' s Gambit that strong? yes And again: without Imp. Initiative and Weapon focus I can't become an Occult Slayer:are you suggesting me to wait another 3 levels to do that? yes ..... Occult Slayer is not as great as it seems... with the right equipment you dont even need it Why Combat Brute before Shock trooper? miss pasted.... Shock Trooper should be first :D
