it seems the fine folks at WoTC/Gleemax have decided to change the way this forum is displayed.... at least on the computer i am using...... does anyone know how to get the appearance back to the way it used to look?

I've noticed this as well. I can change the appearance settings in my profile options, but when I view the forums themselves they default to the green-on-green-on-green look. Gah, so much green. I don't even like the color.

it is simply another example of the poor standards for Intelligence used by WotC in thier choice of Individuals who make decisions ..... i was unaware of a Moron outreach program, seems like WoTC is trying to corner the market on them

Look at the calendar date

Yes, it's April Fools, except as carnivore noted this change happened during the night on Saturday for Pacific Standard Time, which is what Wizard's is based off of (look at their maintenance timing for the boards as an example). As such, this went up several hours before April Fools would've kicked in for them. Maybe they just got it running early, I don't know. Or maybe they had something planned for April Fools and that thing screwed up the forum graphics.

Although I suppose I shouldn't be. It is WotC after all.

Heh, anybody got a Green Lantern build? *snicker*

yes...try this:

Green Lantern:

Elan Telepath 20

1 Psionic Body, PsiCrystal
3 Power Penetration
5 E Knowledge (Energy Missile or Ego Whip)
6 Psychic Meditation
9 Practiced Manifester
10 PsiCrystal Containment
12 Twin Power
15 E. Knowledge (Reddopsi), Power Pen: Greater
18 Overchannel
20 Talented

"Power Ring": Base Ring of Counterspells

5 Det. Magic at Will
6 Feather Fall at Will
7 Lesser Extend Power, 3/day
8 Lesser Split Ray, 3/day
9 Comp. Languages at Will
10 Lesser Enlarge, 3/day
11 Lesser Empower, 3/day
12 Extend, 3/day
13 Split Ray, 3/day
15 Lesser Maximize, 3/day
16 [Free Slot]
17 Empower, 3/day
18 Lesser Quicken, 3/day
20 Maximize, 3/day

Why is this a good combo?

The cost for a 15 level Psionic Item of Legacy is -2 ML Penalty (does NOT affect PP or Powers Known, just effect of power and ML checks), 18 PP, 56,000 GP and 3,300 XP.

Here is how you offset the costs:
-Practiced Manifester erases the ML penalty.
-The 30 uses each day of FREE Meta-Psionic augmentation, which do NOT count towards your ML Cap for manifesting or augmenting a power, which equal 78 free power points.
-The GP and XP penalties are offset by the items you don't have to buy.

Excellent use of an Item of legacy...the build is also very nice without it

I'm not that familiar with psionics since it's banned in our campaign aside from the monster's that normally have it. Are there any mage / sorc builds for GL out there? *snicker* Or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles go with the green scheme as well.
#32

pithica

Apr 01, 2009 12:53:20
A modified Jean Grey build with Spell Thematics on Telekinesis and lots of Conj(creation)/Ill type stuff with a pimp ring would work for GL.

I'd probably go Sorc 5/Mind 1/Incan 5/Shadocraft Mage 5/MotUH 4 Not necessarily in that order. Mindbender's kind of redundant since GL doesn't normally have telepathy, but I thought he had some kind of 6th sense provided by the ring which I was hoping to cover with mindsight.

I'd also like to say since the colours changed, they also brought back the login box. I think this is an actual update, not April Fool's.

On the topic of that login box, is anyone else able to login with it? I have to do something that you need to log in for (like starting a thread) then use the login with the e-mail, not the username. Damn, but WotC is screwy.

just wondering if the IDIOTS at WOTC will correct the damage done by the Worm/Virus that changes words or adds words to threads and Posts..... namely the terms
GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!

IDIOTS... fix your stupid mess...... you made it, and it damages work others have spent a lot of time to create...... oh yeah i forgot.. you dont have enough integrity to remove damage YOU create

if the PRANK is over.... correct the threads back to thier previous condition.... without losing the current posted info

your addressing this situation would be appreciated

First of all this thread is hilarious. Mostly because I m teh n00bzor and have no idea what u guys are talking about, isn't that just an april fools?

Second, is it fixed? Because I saw a weird little gre_en icon next to each thread when I checked at work, but its gone now.

So... can someone post a screenshot? Using a simple browser grep I see no 'gleemax' spamming, nor any gre_en...

edit: Holy monkeys I just looked at one of the tabs I had open to this forum and its all puke gre_en. But this browser tab for the forum is normal tan.

Also I finally figured out why u guys spammed "GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!" Its because it saves all "gre_en"s without the underscore into that annoying 'GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!GLEEMAX!' thing
