| #1menanderJul 01, 2008 11:59:02 | After reading the title you know you had to come in and see. So I am playing a Frenzied berzerker build just as the title suggests, hes a big shark and has a ship anchor as a weapon (modified heavy flail). So I bring my many toothed creation to the Character Optimization board because frankly, he lacks the, pardon my digression, bite that I want from him. Please give me some ideas as to feats, equipment, and all that business. Race: (Custom) Shark men Classes: Fighter2(PhB)/Barbarian1(PhB)/PaladinofFreedom3(UA)/FrenziedBerserker5(CW)/*BearWarrior9(CW) *this class is modified for flavor for a shark, no features are changed. Alternative Class Features: Lion Spiritual Totem(CC)- replaces fast movement with pounce. Feats: Power Attack (PhB) (lv1) Destructive Rage(CW) (fighter1) Cleave (PhB) (fighter2) Intimidating Rage(CW) (lv3) Righteous Wrath(ED) (lv6) Great Cleave(PhB) (lv9) Iron Will(PhB) (lv12) Cumbrous Will(SS) (lv15) Bull Headed(PGF) (lv18) He is entering the campaign at level 3 so keep that in mind for equipment. Although that doesn't mean I won't appreciate some long term advice. Any book is ok, regardless of setting. As for the sharkmens stats they are as follows: +4str, -2dex, +2con, -2wis, -2int, -2cha amphibious(breath air or water) bite attack of 1d8 favored class of barbarian blindsense 30ft(only in water) scent(in and out of water but in water can smell blood from a mile away) |

| #4keyes2k4Jul 01, 2008 16:12:35 | sponge bob square pants campaign? anyway, I'm totally imagining the starkist tuna guy wielding a bloody ankor right now. |
| #5BalthanonJul 01, 2008 17:24:30 | If that list of classes is in order, I would switch barbarian to your first level-- that will let you pick up an extra 8 skill points. |
| #6Blade2718Jul 01, 2008 21:32:53 | Great Cleave needs to go right away. Replace with Dreadful Wrath to get a fear aura when making a full attack (happening a lot of the time with Pounce). |

| #9blargney_the_secondJul 04, 2008 19:06:25 | I was thinking of a drawing I saw recently - it was a hulking humanoid shape with a shark's head, and wearing the jawbones of a large shark as a harness. I think it may have been something to do with Nicholas Logue's new 3rd party stuff with his shark god. |
| #10blargney_the_secondJul 04, 2008 19:09:00 | Hah, found it! It doesn't have an anchor weapon, unfortunately:![]() |
