Well, back again with another crazy druid idea from my DM. Greenbound has been changed to Ashbound in our campaign (Eberron). No changing to plant type, no SLAs, DR changes to DR 10/Non-Magical and you gain smite arcanist, similar to smite evil from a Paladin. He and I have discussed modifying the Planar Shepherd. Since my character, being Ashbound, is very anti-arcane, we were thinking to modify the Planar Shepherd accordingly. Changes we made, so far: Know (The Planes) prereq changed to Know (Arcana) Feats changed to require Ashbound Summoning (reflavored Greenbound Summoning) +1 caster level for SNA, -1 caster level for everything else. Planar Bubble: Changed to Anti-Arcane bubble. Like Antimagic field, only it only blocks arcane magic. Gone: Animal Companion, Planar Attunement, Plane Shift, Intensify Manifest Zone and Detect Manifest Zone are right out. Wildshape: Can turn into an Ashbound animal insted of magical beast. Takes two Wildshape uses. Capstone: All wildshapes are Ashbound Certainly powerful (Ashbound wildshape looks NICE) and I think it's downright broken, certainly more powerful in just about every way to a druid. The caster level doesn't hurt me as I mainly just wildshape and summon stuff anyway. Anti-Arcane bubble seems just peachy-keen. So, suggestions to make this balanced? Main thing I want is Ashbound flavor and improved wildshape. My summoning is good enough as is.
