Further Arcane Swordsage Abuse?

Oct 29, 2008 19:08:16 The way I read it, an arcane swordsage need not have a certain WIS score to learn a spell since all spells are treated as maneuvers. Is this true?

Would a rogue2/arcane swordsage2 be able to cast one L2 spell?

Oct 29, 2008 19:13:04 It's Initiator Level would be 3, thus 2nd level Maneuvers (and thus spells) ... if that is what you're asking.

Oct 30, 2008 2:57:04 Not according to the rules, no. But that also means that you'll have crappy DC:s since you don't add any ability modifier to you spells.

shapechange and time stop are among those wonderful choices...

did i mention time stop?

So since we're on the topic of ABUSE:

Wish becomes an option....

or how about summoning a GOD with ice assassin?

Oct 31, 2008 20:56:50 I don't think it's worth abusing something that doesn't exist until your DM creates it.

You guys are just running with the suggestion of an alteration to the class and running with it assuming it works just like you want it to.

If I were a DM and I said I was cool with everything in ToB and you tried to pull this, I would go ahead and let you...without telling you that the only spell on your spell list is prestigiditation and that you get it at level 20.
