| #1steffikAug 09, 2009 4:57:34 | First I didnt know if I should ask but nvm I just do it. Anyone know Invader Zim? And his robot GIR? Here is some footage if you dont know it yet: List_of_Invader_Zim_characters GIR (YouTube Video) Best of Gir and Zim (YouTube) So my question and yeah it might be silly stupid and totaly insane but would it be possible to get some companion/follow or familliar like GIR? Mb a construct with bad disguise and not so sane mind? Something like GIR :D Why would I want something like that? Dont know maybe because I like freaky charakters. ;) Greets Steffanie |

Other than a CN alignment, low Int and Wis scores, and ranks in Craft (cooking), Disguise, Knowledge (local), Perform (dance), and Ride (the Pig!) I can't think of any other crunch specifics for him. Sounds like he'd be a blast to have in game, though. |

Never used leadership before. Could some kind of other constuct with a rather free will do it? Thx in advance. |

It's up to your DM whether or not you can find that specific cohort so, work with him/her and make sure it doesn't bring an unwanted comedy aspect but other than that as long as you have a good story between you and your cohort it should be acceptable. And Warforge have completely free wills they are not commanded by anyone. P.S. Don't for get to include a love of Taquitos. |
| #5felgorothAug 10, 2009 15:49:05 | Definitely take the Leadership feat and make G.I.R. a warforged scout, as far as some feats for him go for him give him Lunatic Insight from Heroes of Horror, a prerequisite for the feat is to have a mild depravity but I suggest giving him a moderate one (should still qualify him for the feat) and take Hysterical, sure it's a downside because you can only take a single move action or standard action your next turn but, it's G.I.R. it would add to him because he would be laughing (hence why he can only take a move action or standard action) and the plus side to the feat is he treats all knowledge skills as trained which means he has random knowledge like the actual G.I.R. Two other feats that might be good for G.I.R. would be possibly Unarmored Body or Jaws of Death from Races of Eberron. I say Unarmored Body because G.I.R. was put together from scraps and Jaws of Death would just be fun for him to have to bite things |
| #6zenoguAug 10, 2009 16:20:54 | Give him something like a diet for blood that some monsters have in Libris Mortis, but instead make sure it's tacos. |

| #8felgorothAug 10, 2009 16:30:41 | It's in chapter 4 under mental symptoms from being tainted I think it's around page 65, also if you just want a mild depravity compulsive would work |
| #9felgorothAug 11, 2009 10:07:57 | O! O! O! Give G.I.R. the Aberration Blood so you can get Scavenging Gullet. When you take Aberration Blood I'd suggest Bulging Eyes or Segmented Eyes (they give you a bonus on Spot or Search checks and G.I.R. had big eyes) then, Scavenging Gullet allows him to gain nurishment from anything organic and it gives him a +4 on saves when he eats something to resist being poisoned or getting a disease from what he eats. It'd be great if you took Jaws of Death and Scavenging Gullet together for G.I.R. so he could take bites out of people and get fed at the same time and of course because he's G.I.R. he'd eat all the time and perhaps threaten to eat a wizard or sorcerer's familiar |

I think my party will try to kill me if I come up with G.I.R but I will do it anyway. :D Can you tell me where I find those feats? Thx felgoroth in advance. :P Greets |
| #11flawless_pAug 11, 2009 14:13:37 | The Aberrant Feats are in Lords of Madness |
| #12felgorothAug 11, 2009 16:11:05 | Lunatic Insight and Hysterical are from Heroes of Horror and Jaws of Death and Unarmored Body are from Races of Eberron. Abberation Blood and Scavenging Gullet are from Lords of Madness. I'm actually thinking about doing this myself now because of the awesomeness lol |

But I wouldnt take the Unarmored Body feat. Since he has some kind of armor. I would decribe it as some kind of unfinished Armor. Maybe the normal plating but some pieces are scrap metal. I think that would fit more to the look of G.I.R. So a Warforge Scout Fighter with Lunatic Insight, Hysterical, Jaws of Death, Unarmored Body and ...? |
| #14felgorothAug 12, 2009 12:27:58 | I'd almost make G.I.R. the scout class or a rogue. Then for 1st level feats give him Lunatic Insight (say he became hysterical some how, that means on his second action in combat he can only make 1 move action or 1 standard action because he's laughing) then if you can take flaws give him Jaws of Death and Abberation Blood. Then at 3rd level give him Scavenging Gullet and then you can just take any feats you'd want him to have after that. |

Hehe I thinking about playing G.I.R instead of having him as corhort. :D Would be much more fun I think. Since when I get him as Corhort my DM would play him or am I wrong on that point? Hm if not Fighter I would go rouge since scout would seem to me to much non combatant. Yeah G.I.R dont actually fights but he could. :D Hm but on the other hand having G.I.R as corhort would be fun either. Yelling an order at him and he screams back TACOS!!! :D |
| #16felgorothAug 12, 2009 12:43:27 | You do control your cohort, the only way you wouldn't is if you were having a conversation with him most DM's talk in that situation unless you want to talk to yourself. Scouts can get into combat and they have a higher hit die than Rogues, you'd just have to build yourself for melee instead of ranged combat. They're skirmish ability is good too becuase you move 10ft. and deal some extra damage |

If I understand that one correct I have to move 10ft to get some extra dmg. But if G.I.R is hysterical only a move or a standard action is allowed. That wouldnt fit or? |
| #18felgorothAug 12, 2009 15:05:05 | It's only your second turn in an encounter that you can only make a move or standard action. All your other turns you can make full actions |
| #19felgorothAug 12, 2009 15:20:55 | O, it would also be fun to play G.I.R. as a Dragon Shaman, black, brass, copper, red, and white Dragon Shaman can be Chaotic Neutral and it would be kinda funny having a breath weapon and a bite attack and this way you eventually get a fly speed |
| #20syrkresAug 12, 2009 16:09:32 | Does sound like a cool concept for a companion/follower/familiar. Cool ideas like these always add to a game I think. |
