| #1cyrocloudJun 01, 2008 14:31:56 | I'm DMing a game for a few friends and there looking for some help on their gesalts. It's level 5 gesalt to start LA goes on one side, all books, 32 pt buy. PrCing is allowed on both sides. First friend is looking for a arcane mage archer my suggestion Wizard 5 //ranger 5 Int>Dex>con>wis>cha=Str I had no advice for where to go though Another realy started to like the make your own monster idea of totemist so I suggested Druid 5// Totemist 5 Wis>Con>Cha=Str=Dex=Int I was thinking this would be good to go into MoMF(with the interpretation of morphing into a monster with spells gives you the spells if you prepare/pray for them). I'm just givin them bare bones suggestions not telling them what to do, but they have little CO abillity and trying my best to help them out, so they don't die. |

Take the feat extended reach for a 15 foot reach With a focused specialist wizard on the other side of the gestalt. Kensai Handbook http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=934172 |

Let alone a squid that somehow learns to use his tentacles as a focused weapon (Kensai)... and is a focused mage. Even then, how does it meet the party? Hang out at a bar? Its about up there with the anthromorphic baleen whale. Great stats, but dude.... you're a ****ing WHALE! Good for a laugh anyways. If they want to be monstrous, consider stuff like anthromorphic bat/monkey, or (gulp) white dragonspawn. That way, it wont eat up all his levels with monster Hit Dice or huge level adjustments. |

Let alone a squid that somehow learns to use his tentacles as a focused weapon (Kensai)... and is a focused mage. Well it is a half squid, half humanoid with a mostly humanoid body. As for personality, racial feelings, instincts, as well as combining magic with a focused on tentacles...I really wonder where you can draw inspiration from... ![]() You are right, it is a stupid idea, i mean seriously how would you play a xenophobic tentacled/humanoidish creature. I have absolutely no idea where to start ![]() |
