#1 death11 Apr 02, 2008 11:16:13	Ok, so I'm in a 2 player, Evil Campaign. Eventual goal is conquer the world. The Character I have right now is: Wizard-31, Rogue-5, Mindbender-12 Spellwarp Sniper-5 Arcane Lord-9 However, upon closer examination of both spellwarp and Arcane lord, they really don't fit the domination type char I was originally going far. So, does anyone have a good 5 level prestige class to replace Sniper, and should I just add 9 levels to Epic Mindbender (No comments on how it sucks, i fixed the main problem of lack of spellcasting levels since the other half is pure wizard.) or does anyone have something better. (I can replace, basically, everything after level 15 - Wizard 15, Rogue 5, Mindbender 10)
#2 aftercrescent Apr 02, 2008 11:29:33	In levels where you gain spell casting advance from those PrC you lose out because you gain nothing from wizards. Try balancing it so you take a class on the wizard side when you gain a level of advancement in mindbender. Also, what's the point of rogue? You could pull some really insane stuff with gestalt at that level mixing wizard/prc and psion/prc so you have insane manifesting/casting with so many different abilities. Off the top of my head? Swiftblade will net you extra standard acitons, coupled with shapechange into anything with multiple rounds (aspect of demogorgon, chronotyrm, etc) will make that insane. Thrallherd for the psionic part fits in flavorwise and is very powerful. If there's only 2 players, can you take leadership/epic leadership? ECL 31 gestalt Arcane/Psionic with thralls, leadership, epic leadership.... You should be able to take over the world easily at this point.
#3 death11 Apr 02, 2008 11:35:53	Wizard - Epic bonus feats. Rogue - Flavor, mostly. nothing else really fit. The skills were nice though. No to leadership -- too much cheese (Though we're already at that with arcane thesis)

#5 davethemagicweasel Apr 02, 2008 12:17:35	For a domination theme I'd recommend the Mother Cyst feat from Libris Mortis. The Necrotic line of spells can bypass immunities and uch :D. Also, Fiend-Blooded (Lords of Madness iirc?) - that'll let you add a few Cleric spells to your list (there's a couple of very nice domination ones in the Spell Compendium - True Domination and Monstrous Thrall in particular). In fact, I'd be tempted to just go Wizard on one side and Archivist (Heroes of Horror) on the other and use that to get the Cleric spells (and precious, precious Int synergy). Cleric instead of Archivist does have some merit though - a couple of the domain abilities are useful (e.g. Domination and Tyranny). If you go for Archivist then I'd take that to 20 and PrC on the Wizard side, if Cleric then PrC with that and stick to Wizard 20 for the bonus feats (maybe the Complete Champion alternate class feature for a domain to grab Domination).
#6 death11 Apr 02, 2008 14:34:19	I didn't know about Epic PRC Bonus feats -- arcane lord gives bonus metamagic feats, that's all thats listed. I'll have to look it up later. Thanks for that. i'll look into mother cyst, and necrotic line of spells, as well as Fiend Blooded. thanks both
