#1 fenrir423 Apr 12, 2008 8:29:56	It's widely acknowledged that Druid 20 and Cleric 20 are solid leveling paths for their own reasons, but could they be effectively combined in a gestalt campaign? Both use Wisdom for spells, so that works well; with the proficiencies you could eventually use Ironwood Full Plate without violating your Druid vows; Natural Spell doesn't specify that it is restricted to Druid spells while wildshaped so I am led to believe you could use both Druid and Cleric spells while in Wildshape allowing you some pretty nifty buffs you might not have otherwise. It looks to me like it could work pretty well, but I want some outside opinions since I can be a bit short sighted. It would probably have to abandon summoning which may or may not be a hindrance. And would said character be restricted, at least from a roleplaying standpoint, to be a cleric of Obad Hai? I might be able to argue for Pelor because of the ties between the sun and nature, but I don't know.
#2 phoenix00 Apr 12, 2008 8:48:50	with DMM chain, quicken, or persist the answer is a yes, followed by an orgasmic women in the shower screaming HELL YES. Without those two, well its kinda meh. Good spell selection, but wizard has some better ones, and you are still having the limited action problem.
