Hi, everyone. First of all I would like to thank you for any assistant you might be able to provide. Unfortunately there are some campaign requirements to consider. We can use any book except Faerun, Book of Exalted Deeds, Eberron and Book of Vile Deeds. Oh, I don't think we have Dragonlance Campaign Setting either. Of course we might but probably will not use that book. Due to the campaign I will be a Half-Elf. I will need to be a Beast Heart Adept (ASAP) and Duskblade. I will be using a Bastard Sword (again because of campaign) with free Exotic Weapon feat. Requirements for Beast Heart Adept are: Feat: Animal Affinity Skills (Knowledge): Dungeoneering - 4 ranks, Arcana - 4 ranks and Handle Animal - 8 ranks. This is a Gestalt character, my first one, and why I would like some help. I will need to keep Spot, Listen and Tumble in class forever. My thought was Human Paragon and Half-Elf Paragon with Duskblade for the first six levels. I am considering dropping a Duskblade level at level 5 and using either Human Paragon or Half-Elf Paragon to pick up the slack for the loss of Duskblade level. At level 6 I will go into Beast Heart Adept with either Human or Half-Elf Paragon (for the stat bonuses) and bonus feats. (We can take two flaws but I prefer not to take any, perhaps one at the most.) I was thinking Human Paragon to get Tumble in class from Able Learner (correct name?) plus choosing ten skills - Spot and Listen for sure. I am thinking of taking Human Paragon for three levels to get the stat boost and to keep Handle Animal in class for at least three levels. I also would like to keep Half-Elf for three levels to get Elf sight, stat bonus and the bonus feat. I would probably need to take Gorilla Scout to keep Spot and Listen in class. I would like to get Power Attack, Blind Fighting, Close Quarters Fighting and eventually get Improved Critical and Cleave. Another thing worth mentioning is that this will not only be Gestalt but also high stat character campaign. So having three eighteens is a definite possibility. As I mentioned this is my first Gestalt character so I am not sure if I am getting this right or maybe there are better ways to get done what needs to be done. So again the basics are keeping Spot, Listen and Tumble in class forever, getting into the Beast Heart Adept class as soon as possible and hopefully not losing to many levels of Duskblade (if any).
