Gestalt Elf Fighter/ Mage CO Challenge

Well this loveley ride we called 3.0/3.5 is ending. I institute a challenge make the best flavorful fighter mage, in the vein of the origional d and d elf class. Only two rules, 1 arcane magic only, 2 must keep in theme with the elf and its ways ( no drow or book of vile darkness stuff )

I'll give it two weeks then declare a winner.
