My goal here is to make a gestalt character with a high INT that can fight and skillmonkey AND random-fun-abilities. Without resorting to casterism.

The obvious choice is just warblade 15 factotum 15, but I'm sure that you folks in the charOP boards with your legendary reputation can give me something a mite more amazing.

Books allowed: All
Starting race: Any
Starting stats:15 15 15 18 14 12
Starting level: 4
End level: 15
Misc: Party already includes a warblade/fighter and a ranger/something, and an NPC cleric.

Warblade//Factotum is indeed a good solid choice, but you could also do ArchivistX/Sacred Exorcist 1//Factotum X+1 and rock out all over the place. DMM Persist makes you rock in melee.

First, I'd really prefer not to use magic in this.
Second, DM is never going to allow DMM persist.

Factotum/Warblade is probably the best choice. For added fun, you can grab up swashbuckler and use a spiked chain to THF with finesse and intelligence to your damage.

Factotum 20//Warblade 17/Swashbuckler 3.

Power Attack, EWP(Spiked Chain), Adaptive Style, Combat Expertise and Improved Trip are the feats I'd recommend. Font of Inspiration for the rest.

Str: 15
Dex: 15
Con: 15
Int: 18
Wis: 14
Cha: 12

Actually, there's a PrC out there one of my friend's recommend called master of masks that allows you to make a mask that grants exotic weapon proficiency. No need to burn a feat on one weapon when I could have all of them. (and someone made a list of unique useful exotic weapons. I seem to recall an exotic material that causes the weapon to be exotic, but have a x4 crit.)

Warblades get an even better feature:
Weapon Aptitude (Ex): Your training with a wide range of weaponry and tactics gives you great skill with particular weapons. You qualify for feats that usually require a minimum number of fighter levels (such as Weapon Specialization) as if you had a fighter level equal to your warblade level -2. For example, as a 6th-level warblade, you could take Weapon Specialization, since you're treated as being a 4th-level fighter for this purpose. These effective fighter levels stack with any actual fighter levels you have. Thus, a fighter 2/warblade 4 would also qualify for Weapon Specialization.

You also have the flexibility to adjust your weapon training. Each morning, you can spend 1 hour in weapon practice to change the designated weapon for any feat you have that applies only to a single weapon (such as Weapon Focus). You must have the newly designated weapon available during your practice session to make this change. For example, if you wish to change the designated weapon for your Weapon Focus feat from greatsword to longsword, you must have a longsword available to practice with during your practice session.

You can adjust any number of your feats in this way, and you don't have to adjust them all in the same way. However, you can't change the weapon choices in such a way that you no longer meet the prerequisite for some other feat you possess. For instance, if you have both Weapon Focus (longsword) and Weapon Specialization (longsword), you can't change the designated weapon for Weapon Focus unless you also change the weapon for Weapon Specialization in the same way.

Basically, what I would do is Factotum 15//X 5/Chameleon 10. But I think I may like the chameleon too much.

Warblade is a solid choice for the X, as is Monk 2/swashbuckler 3 with Carmendine Monk or Kung-Fu Genius.
